USD 624.26 paid

USD 624.26 paid, no goods received, appeal rejected without resolving conflicting shipment accounts I would give zero stars if possible. My criticism concerns Alibaba’s Trade Assurance and dispute-resolution process following an undelivered order. On 24 August 2026, I purchased a Yidacard 100 card printer from Guangzhou Bayi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. through Alibaba. The fully paid order total was USD 624.26, including shipping and VAT. The order displayed a guaranteed delivery window of 1–27 September, alongside delivery and money-back protection information. I never received or accepted the printer. After a customs-clearance problem in Switzerland, I received materially different explanations about what happened to it. Tracking recorded a return-to-sender event. On 11 September, the supplier’s company said the shipment was on its way back. On 13 October, the supplier said it had been destroyed by customs. In its 14 October dispute response, the supplier instead described a return to a carrier in Hong Kong and said it could not afford the high return-shipping costs, leaving the goods with the carrier for processing. I submitted these discrepancies and requested official evidence identifying the shipment’s final disposition: a destruction record, documented return delivery, or another conclusive carrier or customs record. Alibaba rejected my appeal on 20 October 2026 and closed the dispute with USD 0 refunded. To represent the decision fairly, Alibaba relied on DAP customs-clearance responsibilities, contact attempts and allegedly missing or late documents. It concluded that the available evidence did not establish supplier fault. Alibaba did not claim that I had received the goods. However, its decision did not resolve my central concern: how the conflicting return and destruction explanations could be reconciled, or what official documentation established where the printer ultimately went. No official destruction certificate or conclusive final-disposition evidence has been provided to me. The refund interface recorded USD 577.48 excluding VAT, whereas my full recorded payment was USD 624.26. I sought recovery of the full amount paid. The delivery and money-back protection presented on the order gave me confidence when purchasing. In this case, the outcome was no printer received and no refund awarded, while the shipment’s final fate remained unverified to me. This experience has seriously undermined my confidence in Alibaba’s buyer protection and dispute handling. I cannot recommend relying on the protection wording alone without carefully examining the applicable conditions and the documents required if delivery fails. This is a review of my actual transaction and Alibaba’s handling of it. I cannot assess the printer’s quality or functions because it never arrived.
