Clingy, Overrated, RUDE
They do not live up to the hype. Not only is the cell service suboptimal on the best of days, it drops frequently. Trying to use nearly any app becomes outright impossible during bad weather - a problem I only seem to have when using anything involving T-mobile. Lo and behold, turns out those are the towers Mint uses. Anyway, the service could have been forgiven, if not for just how pushy they are for your money. If you don't have autopay set up, they will absolutely email and text you daily. Even if you send "stop" in response to their texts, they will continue to text daily, reminding you that you haven't selected autopay. At least the emails can be sent straight to spam. Blocking the number, unfortunately, would have meant blocking the only means of communication they're willing to use for getting the transfer pin. That said, you can forget about having a smooth transition from Mint to another carrier, if you go with these guys. I've been without any cell service for three days now, because it's just been one error after another, with Boost doing everything in their power to help me with it. Maybe all of this feels more stressful for me, due to all the other things I'm going through, but that part really shouldn't hold much weight. At the end of the day, they are CLAIMING to be a hassle-free, simpler, and top notch service. Something that they are NOT living up to. This is why they get only 1 star from me... though if I could rate 0 stars, that would be much more accurate. UPDATE: Not only were they incredibly RUDE on the phone, they also just basically were like "there's nothing we can do" about the trouble I'm having switching from them to Boost. DO NOT bother with these guys!!!!!!!!!!
