Cancellation Insurance with Expedia is a waste of money
I would rate them as less than 1 if I could since they are not up front about paying insurance for hotel cancellation. They use Travel Guard, an AIG company, as an insurance. I paid hotel cancellation insurance through Expedia following the website continued prompts. We had to cancel our trip when an event we were going to was cancelled. Travel Guard wanted multiple pieces of documentation as to why our event was cancelled and Expedia deferred everything to Travel Guard. Our case has still not been resolved. Signing up for travel protection through Expedia is a waste of money.
