I was able to trade on dmarket very easily. The process is straightforward as long as you have your steam guard mobile active. I had a bug saying I didn’t have it active, however it was. All I did was disconnect my steam account to dmarket and then reconnect it. When looking at the trade offer it showed my skins that I was trading, but not the dmarket bot so I thought it was an API scam. Although it wasn’t in the end, I still downloaded the “dmarket trust shield” which I recommend for anyone. It just verifies that the bot you’re trading with is from dmarket.
