Keep away from this fraudulent company
Keep away from this fraudulent company. You pay them but they don’t pay the rental company, and the rental company then charges you again. It has been a long battle to get a refund and they are just not interested in helping at all. I rented a car with Avis through RentingCarz, and paid online. I received an email confirmation and the pre paid voucher. On my arrival at Avis counter, I showed them the reservation and pre paid voucher, and they only placed a holing charge on my credit card (as they are supposed to, for the deposit), which should be released once I return the car in good condition. All went well, they released the hold but charged the rental fee (already paid to RentingCarz). I contacted Avis and they told me that RentingCarz did not pay them, so they charged me. I contacted RentingCarz and they told Avis should use their pre paid voucher, and asked me to contact Avis. After more than a month, many emails and international phone calls, and being played by both companies, RentingCarz decided to partially refund me. I am trying to raise a formal complaint with the company but they just ignore my emails. Be aware of this scammer company. DESPITE THEIR COMMENT BELLOW, they only gave me a partial refund, I am still trying to get it money back... how frustrating!
