Updating my review: Ale resolved the issue by setting up a new account and providing clear steps to move forward and improve security. The initial support experience was accusatory and dismissive, so there’s still room for improvement. That said, the service itself works as advertised. Adjusted rating to 4 stars from 1. IPVanish cancelled my elderly mother’s account claiming “hundreds of simultaneous connections.” She can barely log into one device. Either their system is broken or her account was compromised—but instead of investigating, they shut her down and refused to provide real evidence. No transparency. No accountability. Years of loyalty meant nothing. Be warned: your account can be terminated without proof—and support won’t help.
