Explosion of fun. Grrrl Bomb
The entire process was entirely satisfying. I saw this incredible piece and thought of my granddaughter-the artist showed vitality and abundance through her work. It felt like trying on 71 outfits before feeling the perfect one and then looking at the floor of your room as a teenager. Entitled Grrrl Bomb -which was so fitting, Kimberly Garland’s piece invited numerous memories of childhood and geniusly and masterfully retraced those moments into one detailed art piece. It speaks volumes- and seeing it through the eyes of my 5 year old granddaughter brought me back 50 years. Spectacular artistry and I hope to see more of her work with the freedom that only a true artist can achieve.
