Horrible experience
Horrible experience! Inconsistent customer service, fake booking, and terrible system. I had an absolutely frustrating experience with Expedia today while trying to book a flight for my holiday trip. After receiving a booking confirmation (Booking ID: A7STSC), the nightmare began. One representative told me my trip was rejected due to being 'out of stock,' while another agent assured me everything was completely fine. Because of this total lack of consistency, I had to waste my entire Sunday trying to verify the information. When I finally managed to speak directly with an agent on the phone, they initially claimed 'everything is OK.' However, the moment I asked them for the actual Electronic Ticket Number, they finally admitted the flight was out of stock. Worse yet, they didn't even bother to cancel the transaction properly until I strictly demanded they send me a cancellation confirmation email right away. Now, my credit card limit is tied up with a heavy pending charge because of their system failure, and the low fare on the airline's website is gone. This is completely unprofessional. I highly recommend everyone avoid using Expedia for important trips!
