Reservation Counter vs Double Tree Counter
The booking process was excellent. What I'm not satisfied with is the actual booking site. I searched Hilton Doubletree Hotel to make my Reservation. I was under the impression I was speaking to the Hotel. I asked if this was Hilton Doubletree and I was told yes. I have points and did not want to use them, choose to pay instead. They asked for my Hilton Member #; which was not included in the Reservation. There was a charge of $64.43 for Taxes and Fee, no breakdown of the charge. The room rate was $125.87; I ended up paying $208.29. I didn't get all of this information until I received my Receipt. There was a NO REFUND. The Hotel excepted my Receipt and applied my Member Number.
