Formal Complaint – Incorrect Charges of USD 4,037.43 and USD 3,787.43 for Returned Vehicle
I am filing this complaint regarding a car rental booking made through your platform (Booking Reference: 09073485PA1) with Avis. I am writing to formally report that this matter has become even more serious and still remains unresolved. After recovering access to my card, I found two separate movements from AVIS RENT-A-CAR dated 04/21/2026 related to the same rental case: USD 4,037.43 -USD 3,787.43 As I have already informed you, the vehicle was returned in person, without damage or incident. For that reason, it is unacceptable that inconsistent amounts and billing movements continue to appear in connection with the same rental. I urgently request: A written explanation of the exact nature and origin of both movements. Immediate confirmation of which amount, if any, is an actual charge and whether the negative amount corresponds to a reversal, adjustment, or temporary authorization. Immediate cancellation and reversal of any improper charge related to this rental. Written confirmation that no further charges will be made in connection with this case. This issue was already reported in a timely manner and, instead of being resolved, it has become more complex. If I do not receive a clear and immediate solution, I will continue escalating this matter with my bank/card issuer and through the appropriate consumer protection and legal channels.
