Bait and switch
First time Gazelle user. I traded in my phone, and everything went smoothly until they received it. They halved their original offer, claiming 1) it wasn't the model I'd indicated and 2) it "has more than the acceptable amount of scratches". The problem with this is it was exactly the model that I'd originally stated and that they confirmed, and it had no scratches. None at all. It was protected by an Otterbox the entire time I had it, and was not only pristine cosmetically, but it had never been dropped. By the time they gave me their heavily discounted offer with no justifiable reason, I'd missed my opportunity to trade it in elsewhere. Edit: Thank you for your response. However, it was, in fact, an unlocked phone. So your response in no way addressed the change in value. Also, I've now been provided three reasons for the change in value, all of which were false.
