Namecheap is AWFUL and INCOMPETENT
We have been loyal users of namecheap for more than 8 years. We have had problems many times and their customer service is abysmal, circular and incompetent. Most recently they took down our web site and email somehow for fifty people for five days and couldnt care less. Responses took hours to days since they have no phone calls and their chat is awful. They are truly one of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune to work with. We are working to register complaints with the federal consumer protection agency and agencies in two states. Stay far away from Namecheap if you value your businesses reputation. ----- Namecheaps reply is absolute nonsense. After days of chats and nonsense replies that issues are on our end we used a third party who found out it was them and that they had vindictively cut our name server while continuing to charge our credit card for many other features. We have had fifty people unable to do their jobs now for almost a week and since namecheap doesnt do phone calls (they don't really do anything but make stuff up repetitively even after you reply). Their link for biometrics doesnt work on Samsung phones (too blurry). Namecheap every one of our employees will use their downtime to post negative reviews about what they experienced and their loss of livelihood until you get us back up and running. This represents people in USA, Canada, Europe, Taiwan, China, Korea and Hong Kong. Yoi ate truly a terrible company with no regard for your loyal customers. I hope we can be a warning to others.
