I had called the hotel to book a room for the night for 3 people and a small dog. She confirmed a room and sent me the confirmation. Once reviewed I noticed the dates were for the next night. I called back to inquire she assured me it was for now. Arrived at the hotel about 20 minutes later. the lady working had me fill out and sign forms for my small dog.. She had me insert my credit card and gave me a room key. Went to the room opened the door to find other guests staying in that room.Went back to the front desk. She was checking on the computer and then told us she did have one more room left but was not dog friendly. Not acceptable! We have been travelling from Bc after being evacuated for fires. contacted every hotel on the way booked one on the phone for Lethbridge however after being assured it was for that night when we arrived it was booked for the following.However they charged my credit card card now your hotel has charged my credit card leaving no more room to charge another hotel. Leaving us no other choice but to drive another 8 hours on no sleep.
