Finished with Canopy
My entire extended family has used Canopy for parking when we fly out of Denver for years. Coming from the Fort Collins area, it's conveniently located off Tower Rd and the shuttles were there fairly quickly. However, the prices have increased quite a bit and with all the added "fees", it's now almost double what Pikes Peak and the Spot charge. Why Canopy has to charge a Commerce City fee and an Airport Access fee and a Processing fee but the other places don't charge those, I don't know, but for 3.5 hours of parking last time (we were picking up a minor so had to go through security), we paid $20.45 as they charged us a full 1 day rate of $14.95 plus all of the fees. IF we had gone to Pikes Peak, it would have been $10. They advertise their daily rate as $10 and don't add all of the fees. The other problem I have with Canopy is that their roads, in between the rows of cars are a mess!! Huge potholes that they never seem to be able to get fixed - it's been that way for years. I've tried to communicate via email with Canopy about the fees & increased prices and just get short, replies that don't address my questions. Our family is finished using Canopy after over 20 years! Sad!!
