March 7, 2026 Paid $3842.06 False advertising The trip was booked online through AARP Travel Center, which uses Expedia for Travel arrangements. I paid for a Luxury Resort, 4 Bedrooms, Private Pool (Eastside) at Encore Reunion Resort, and Waterpark, but I was assigned the Westside, which is old and in poor condition. Not Luxury at all. They advertise a breakfast buffet, and it's a continental breakfast. I booked this package solely based on the Pool Size and Breakfast Buffet. The pool was much smaller and not cleaned. The microwave glass is broken, the trash can pedal was broken, and the toilet seat is loose. I was charged $40.00 a day for the heated pool. The gas grill did not have a gas tank. The carpets had not been cleaned; they were filthy. The kitchen counter had multiple chips along the edge, the floor tiles had multiple chips, and some of the tiles around the pool were sunken into the ground, making them dangerous. Encore Shuttle Bus number they gave me (407)279-0048, I called and only got voicemail. I left a message, and no one ever called me back. I had to pay $35.00 a day for parking at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. Southwest Airlines canceled Flight 3416 on Saturday, May 2, 2026, due to weather conditions in Florida. I didn't fly out until Sunday, May 3, 2026. Missing one day of Walt Disney Theme park for 4 Adult passes, which were prepaid. Fox Rent a Car did not honor the reservation. They said the confirmation FFX070523F was no longer valid since I didn't pick up the car on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Fox Rent a Car charged me $348.50 for a new reservation on Sunday, May 3, 2026. I called the AARP Travel Center/Expedia on May 2, 2026, to explain the situation and asked the representative to contact Fox Rent a Car, Encore Reunion Resort, and Waterpark, as Southwest Airlines had canceled our flight for Saturday, May 2, 2026, and that I would not be showing up until Sunday, May 3, 2026. The AARP representative assured me that all would be taken care of. Expedia offered me a refund of $58.88 Never will I book a trip using Expedia ever again!
