What a fantastic experience! Awesome Hibachi was truly AWESOME! We hosted a holiday party of that awesome hibachi do all the work! My family and friends were very entertained, and the food was delicious!! Would definitely have them again!
The chef who came to our event was very kind and respectful. However, the experience fell short of what was promised based on the company’s advertisements and our prior conversations. We were told the experience would last an hour and a half, but that wasn’t the case. Although we started 20 minutes late due to unexpected baby-related delays (which we didn’t expect to account for), the chef wrapped up 20 minutes early. Altogether, the experience lasted just 50 minutes. It seemed like the chef was ready to leave from the start. Leading up to the event, the company conveyed an energetic and engaging experience, but that energy wasn’t delivered. Despite our enthusiasm, the event felt more like a routine task for the chef, with minimal effort to make it feel special. Here is the tossing food, here is the couple rounds of sake, here is the fun food jokes. The interaction was limited to the chef tossing a single piece of vegetable into everyone’s mouth at the beginning and offering sake shots only when specifically requested. In the end, we paid the full amount and tipped 20%, but unfortunately, we wouldn’t choose to book with them again.
I am absolutely frustrated by my experience at Awesome Hibachi. The photos and posts promised a vibrant, exciting hibachi experience—what I got was anything but. The food orders were wrong, and my guests were not happy. It was clear that the staff member was either new or overwhelmed and unprepared. To make matters worse, when I tried to address these issues, the business started gaslighting me, ignoring my contact to amicably resolve the issues. They kept brushing me off, acting as if nothing was wrong, and even tried to remove my honest reviews from multiple platforms to manipulate their ratings. It’s incredibly frustrating to feel like your concerns are being dismissed and that the truth is being hidden to protect their image. I really regret choosing this place for my birthday celebration. Having booked with them two months in advance, and looking forward the event- it failed in every possible way, and the whole experience was a letdown. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and I suggest you stay far away unless you want to be part of a business that values their reputation over actually delivering on their promises.
The chefs were very patient with waiting for guests to arrive, the food was amazing!! Definitely recommend!
If you want your birthday to be unforgettable, hire David! Between juggling spatulas and sake shots, I'm not sure which I enjoyed more. Incredible experience!
We were gifted a gift certificate to use for our birthday. We coordinated with 11 friends to have event. The chef was one hour late the communication was not great. I did finally reach out to someone. I was also annoyed by the invoice. We were charged a destination fee which was described when a chef travels to an area They don’t cover. I asked the chef where he was from and he was 4 miles away. 125.00 add on for travel. They also invoiced 35.00 for use of a credit card we paid in cash so had a hard time explaining this to the chef. The time was fun they made a great effort. The food was ok not great. We upgraded 9 people to fillet and the meat was tough. We did have a good time and the chef made a great effort. All in was 750.00 which didn’t include gratuity… you provide all beverages , plates , tables , chairs etc. it’s a commitment an expensive comittment.

We had the best time ever!! AK was so funny and the food was delicious, I don’t think I would ever go to regular hibachi again now that I know this is an option. We can’t wait to do awesome hibachi again!!
Had so much fun! Our chef A.K. was so entertaining and the food was even better!! I have down backyard hibachi before but Awesome Hibachi has entertainment aspects that I have never seen before. I was so impressed
