Who may post a review
Any registered user may post, provided you have had a genuine purchase or service experience with that business. Proof of purchase is not required, but you are responsible for the truthfulness of what you write.
What is not allowed
- Anything you did not personally experience.
- Reviews written for payment or any other consideration, positive or negative.
- Other people's personal information (real names, phone numbers, addresses, order numbers).
- Illegal content, hate speech, personal attacks, and anything unrelated to the business.
How we moderate
Negative reviews are never removed for being negative — that is the premise this platform rests on. Only content that breaks the rules above is moderated. Businesses cannot delete, hide, or down-rank any review; all they can do is reply publicly. Full details in our methodology.
The licence you grant
You keep the copyright in your reviews. You also grant us a non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to display, translate, and distribute that content through our open API and structured data. This licence is necessary: reviews here are translated into 11 languages, served via API, and open to crawling and citation by search engines and AI systems. Deleting your account does not automatically revoke this licence for already-published content — see our privacy policy.
For businesses
Businesses can claim their profile for free after domain or email verification. A claimed profile can update its details and reply publicly to reviews. Claiming does not change existing scores and brings no ranking advantage.
About the scores and content
Scores are a statistical summary of user opinion, not our certification, guarantee, or endorsement of any business. Review content comes from users and we do not independently verify its accuracy. Treat it as one input among several, not the sole basis for a decision.
Changes
When these terms change materially we update the date at the top of this page. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
