Locum since 2024, ask for Max at Barton
I’ve been locum since 2024, and Barton Associates is easily my top choice, specifically Max Dorb & his team. They’ve been transparent, easy to work with, and proactive. My experience with them has been fantastic. Don’t just take my word for it—look into them yourself, I’m confident you’ll be impressed. It’s smart to have 2 or 3 locum companies with your info out there, but Barton Associates is the one that’s consistently come through with great opportunities.

I had an outstanding experience working with Riley
I had an outstanding experience working with Riley. From the very beginning, Riley was professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making the entire process smooth and successful. She assisted with everything from placement opportunities and contract coordination to scheduling and licensing support, and consistently stayed one step ahead throughout the process.

Everyone in Barton goes above and beyond to help providers place well and to deal with all the aspects from state licensing, getting DEA’s, the complex credentialing process, contacting personnel from references, to past employers, to schools, etc, to organizing lab testing the works. Then they deal with travelling process to the jobsites 24/7. If changes need to be done they do them without hesitation and they look for the best alternatives to get you where you need to be. They also have a concierge that personally checks to see how the assignment is going. Their service is incomparable. Their timesheet app is also super easy to use. I will continue using Barton for my travel assignments due to all their pluses.

Poor professionalism when dealing with healthcare providers and their time
So a person from barton associates called me by the name of chandler and we talked about psych np positions and finally agreed upon Fort Defiance due to my experience with multiple native tribes. He stated he sent over resume to present to the tribal affiliates a couple weeks ago, Chandler never followed up, and he never called and told the position was filled and stated that he called and left a few voicemails, which there was not one on my phone. Way to waste my time, especially since I have worked with you guys in the past and to not have the professionalism to call a provider back
