Having moved more than 12 times…

Having moved more than 12 times throughout my life as a military veteran, I know how important good planning and communication are during a move. The moment I saw the truck, I became concerned that it wouldn't be large enough to fit all of my belongings in a single trip—and unfortunately, that concern proved to be correct. I called the representative several times to discuss the situation but never received a response. Although the moving crew worked hard and did their best, they arrived without boxes or packing tape because they had not been informed that some items still needed to be boxed. As a result, I was responsible for packing and transporting my lamps and several other items the crew did not feel comfortable moving. While I appreciate the effort of the movers themselves, the overall logistics, communication, and coordination of the move fell well short of my expectations.

We have used Black Tie once before and had excellent service. So, I went directly to them again without even exploring any other movers. The gentlemen who packed my belongings were professional and very polite. In fact, they were fun to be around. From booking the long distance move, packing, delivery, and unboxing it was a 5 star move! I highly recommend them you won't be disappointed.

The Guys were respectful and Courteous, and Was about there Business, they handled our Personal itens with Extreme Care, Excellent job on Packing and unpacking and takng our beds down and reputting them back up again

Happy with service, wish there was a little more communication

Overall very happy with the service! The move coordinator was very friendly and helpful. Loading/unloading was quick and the team did a great job wrapping things up and making sure everything was protected and secured. Only thing that broke was a little crack in the lid of one of the plastic storage bins, but I'm not really bothered about it considering nothing else was damaged. Really my only complaint was I wish there was a little more communication from the team regarding timing - the delivery time was estimated at 9-10am 2 days after loading, but I had to call them when I hadn't heard anything by 11:30. The delay wasn't a big deal in and of itself, just made me a little anxious when I didn't hear anything from them. But otherwise very happy with how the job was done.

Easy peasy with a little help

Movers made it easy. Very polite, needed some guidance for safety but overall a very positive experience. Managers should ensure movers have and use sweat rags so that they don't sweat all over owner's possessions. Movers should have box cutters and other equipment to manage the move.

All went well w the move from Del to NC. Edward, D’Andre and Dwayne were pros moving/wrapping furniture. They worked hard the entire time and had great attitudes no matter the size or weight of the object being moved. Matt was very helpful w the intro and logistics,keeping in touch during the weeks up to the move and working w our schedule
