Still Able to Shop Small!
Bookshop.org allows me to still support my local bookstore while having access to titles they don't carry. I can find the book I'm looking for and delivery is quick. The best part is I don't have to utilize Amazon or a big box store to get the books I want.

Convenient and supports real bookshops
Convenient and easy to order but with the added bonus of supporting real bookshops. Orders arrive promptly. In the past I've had a book arrive damaged and the customer service was great.

I love that I can support my local bookstore when ordering books online. I have been trying to wean myself from the big online retailer who is not known for treating employees well. My only wish is that I could get hard copies a little quicker (I've been spoiled by the big retailer!) But, I am willing to put up with this small inconvenience to support a local business and, in general, good employee practices.
I was able to find what I wanted
I was able to find what I wanted; got it on time; pricing is fair; and only shop independent book stores as supporting them is supporting local communities (this includes small parts of even the biggest cities). Saving $3 to support Amazon and their shareholders is not going to come back i to my community and biying here does.
