Very solid support & insights

Caliber delivered exactly what I needed. Through the support of Sawleh, the assigned PT, I have gained the knowledge, and support for consistency that I needed to reach my next step. The app is very insightful and easy to use, with interesting lessons answering question I indeed had myself. Sawleh is extremely helpful, quick and complete answers - often with video support. Also very helpful with nutrition and all that helps to reach my goals - after 2 months, I am impressed how far he helped me come.

Great Coach!

I have spent the last 18 months working with my coach Quinlan Taylor. He has pushed me to a higher level of fitness than I have achieved in a long time. I have to go off on my own for a bit, but if I can come back, I will definitely work with him again. Always kind, friendly and understanding of any limitations presented by my 65 year old body. I consider Quinn a friend and the best fitness coach I have ever worked with. Look him up!

Easy, useful app for fitness coaching

The Caliber app and coaching program was incredibly useful to me. I had worked with a personal trainer previously but they didn't set me up for success outside of training, so I was looking for a tool that could help me in the long term. I wanted a workout routine I could follow, formulated by a coach, with guidance I could trust. There's so much information out on the Internet and it's hard to know who to trust or what's correct. I found Caliber and my coach, Tazh, at just the right time. Tazh has been compassionate and kind, adjusting my workout as needed, and working with me to improve my nutrition and daily habits. I broke my toe a few weeks into my coaching, and she helped me figure out how to manage my workouts without putting too much weight on my toe and navigating the pain. She's responsive and helpful, and has provided a lot of guidance on correcting my form, understanding how to do specific exercises, and (most importantly) why we should be doing these things. The Caliber app itself is useful for tracking workouts, keeping track of my weights on various exercises, and celebrating the little wins. I came in with some knowledge of strength training, but not a lot, and I feel like I've learned a lot more just from watching the videos, reading over the lessons, and seeing the information in the exercises. Before this, I wouldn't bother to write down how much I was lifting, and was working inefficiently in the workouts I did on my own. I highly recommend Caliber - both the app and the premium coaching, especially if you are beginning your fitness journey and want good coaches and an easy to use interface for tracking information.

The First Strength Program I Truly Trust!

I can’t say enough good things about Caliber Strong, the Caliber app, and my coaching experience with Shannon. I came to Caliber as a woman in my mid‑50s who lifts seriously and wants training that is evidence‑based, safe, and sustainable, not trendy or punishing. Caliber has absolutely delivered. The Caliber app is clean, intuitive, and genuinely useful. My workouts are clearly programmed, easy to follow in the gym, and thoughtfully progressed over time. I love that it removes guesswork while still helping me understand why I’m doing what I’m doing. Tracking lifts, seeing progress, and staying consistent has been seamless. What truly sets Caliber apart, though, is the coaching. Shannon has been outstanding. I had used Caliber without coaching. The app was great. But I didn't really understand what I was doing or why. Thanks to Shannon, my training and nutrition guidance feel personalized, realistic, and respectful of my body and my life. The programming supports strength, bone health, and long‑term progress, not quick fixes. Communication is clear, encouraging, and grounded in expertise. I feel supported without being micromanaged. Since working with Shannon, I’m stronger, more confident in my lifts, and more consistent with both training and protein intake. Just as important, I trust the process. As someone who values data, clarity, and longevity, that trust matters. If you’re looking for a serious, well‑designed strength program with excellent human coaching (especially if you’re an adult lifter who wants to train smart for the long haul) I highly recommend Caliber Strong.

Excellent customer service

Caliber was very helpful, friendly and thorough, making sure I got everything I needed out of the program. From start to finish they kept in contact with helpful tips, recipes, and great training plans. It was definitely worth the cost!

Caliber is Worth the Investment!

I’ve had a great experience with Caliber Training, especially working with my coach Quinn Taylor. Quinn is incredibly knowledgeable and does a fantastic job creating workouts that are thoughtfully tailored to my specific goals. I’m currently recovering from an injury, and he’s been great about modifying exercises and providing guidance so I can keep progressing while protecting my recovery. He’s also shared really helpful advice on grips that have supported my recovery, along with nutrition guidance and resources specific to female-focused strength training. I genuinely enjoy the workouts he programs — they’re well balanced and make me feel confident that I’m efficiently hitting all the right muscle groups. Quinn is also extremely responsive through the app. He regularly checks in to see how my week is going and whether anything needs to be adjusted, which makes the coaching feel very personalized and supportive. The Caliber app itself is excellent and very easy to navigate. I can view my workouts on a monthly calendar and easily move them around if my schedule changes. Each exercise includes a demonstration video, and the app makes it simple to track sets, reps, and weight. It automatically tracks PRs, allows you to leave notes, rate workouts for your coach’s feedback, and even includes a helpful timer to track recovery between sets. Another big plus: I haven’t experienced any glitches or frustrating app crashes, which I’ve run into with other fitness apps. As a 45+ female who has been strength training for over five years, I would highly recommend Caliber to both experienced lifters and beginners. The platform matches you with a coach based on your goals and preferences, which makes the coaching feel truly customized.

Thank you Quinn

I have been working with Quinn Taylor for 2 years. I started with him sometime after my bilateral knee replacement. I have completely regained my life. I take hikes. I am an avid pickleball player, and have regained the fitness I lost over the ten years or so my knees and mobility were deteriorating. Quinn carefully, attentively, and kindly tailored my exercises and gradually built up my mobility and strength and endurance. We had as much contact as I needed. I am very grateful to Quinn. The tech used by the company is more than adequate and all of my dealings with administrators have been smooth and satisfactory. Obviously this is a most positive recommendation.

Yay for Caliber and my coach Sophie!

I have been working with Caliber and coach Sophie (special shout-out to her!) since early November, so about 4 months now. I love that they have different programs that can cater to different accountability / cost needs. I signed up for a 1x/month phone call and that has worked well for me. I love that I can text my coach regularly and have someone to check in with as needed. I joined Caliber because I was heavier than I had ever been, fed up and really looking to make a change. I felt ready, but I also knew I wanted accountability. I have made good progress, I have already lost 20lbs which I am thrilled with and I am lifting heavier than I ever have before (I had done strength training before, but never with a coach and that has made a big difference in my ability to progress). I love the changes I am seeing and feel encouraged to continue doing the work. Sophie and the program have been able to meet me where I am and make adjustments as needed. I want to keep going! I feel like I am learning lessons for life and I am so grateful.

A coaching program that actually fits into real life (Coach Jacob)

I’ve been working with Jacob Huser through the Caliber online coaching program for about three months now and it’s been a great experience. I was honestly a little unsure about online training at first and didn’t know how customized it would actually be, but Jacob has made the whole process feel very personalized and supportive. He’s responsive and thoughtful, and he takes the time to understand where I’m at with my fitness/nutrition, schedule, and goals. The program he builds actually fits into my real life, which has been huge for me, and he’s quick to adjust things if something isn’t working or my schedule changes. One thing that has stood out to me is how attentive he is. If something doesn’t feel right with an exercise he’ll have me upload a video so he can review my form and help troubleshoot it. He’s clearly very knowledgeable across training, mobility, and nutrition, and does a great job explaining the “why” behind what we’re doing. The Caliber app itself is great for tracking workouts and progress, but having Jacob guiding the program is what makes it work. His approach focuses on steady, sustainable changes instead of quick fixes, and in just a few months I’ve already noticed improvements in my strength, stamina, body measurements, and overall health. What stands out most is how he pays attention and follows up to make sure adjustments are actually working. I’m glad to have Jacob in my corner through this process.

An app-based service that actually delivers

I’ve used apps to try to set up workout routines, and I’ve worked with in-person trainers tied to a specific gym. Neither was feasible or effective for me in the long term. I don’t have the discipline or know-how to make real progress on my own just tracking workouts, and I travel too much for in-person training to be sustainable. Caliber solves for both. There’s human interaction with knowledgeable skilled trainers who are available by messaging in the app. My trainer Brian is awesome - he builds workouts based on my needs, keeps me on track, addresses concerns about pain, helps find alternative workouts when I’m traveling and have limited access to equipment, and he monitors my nutrition and helps me stay on track there. All with the convenience of an app that gives good instructions on form, and helps me track workouts and see my progress. I currently have the plan where I get one strategy call a month with my trainer and then unlimited messaging in the interim. I’ve been using the service for three months now and plan to renew. This is first time in my adult life that I’ve had a workout routine I can stick to and manage in my schedule- and it’s giving me noticeable results in strength and appearance. It’s rare to find an app-based service that actually provides value and solves for real needs. This is one of them, and I’m a big fan.

Great for beginners

Caliber is exactly what I was looking for. The platform is well made, very intuitive and gave me all the information and tools I needed as a beginner. The coaching option worth the price. Wesley is a fantastic coach. Always responsive and willing to help. I have tried other apps and this is by far the best one I've found.

What's your health worth?

800 dollars is a lot of money for me. If I'm going to spend that much, I'd like to get my money's worth. Fortunately, my experience with Caliber certainly felt worth the price. I had a knowledgeable and dedicated coach who ensured that my goals were the focus, and I knew exactly how to achieve them. The app is filled with resources that made planning and understanding my workouts incredibly easy, and at no point did I feel the need to look anywhere else. However, when I wanted to understand a subject better, my coach was an expert and had a vast array of references. I wanted 800 dollars' worth of training and resources, and I think I got exactly what I paid for.

Loved my coach Taryn

Loved my coach Taryn, the only reason I stopped was that I had some health problems that made it so I couldn't work out.

My Experience with Caliber Has Been a High-Quality, Adaptive Coaching Experience

My experience with Caliber has been really positive. I’ve been working with my trainer, Swaleih, since June (so over 9 months now), and the biggest difference has been accountability and consistency. Swaleih has stayed on top of keeping me accountable while also adapting the program based on real life, whether that’s travel, busy weeks, or limited time. The programming isn’t rigid; it evolves based on results and circumstances, which has made it sustainable long term. I also appreciate that the guidance goes beyond just workouts. There’s support around nutrition and overall health, which makes it feel more holistic rather than just a gym plan. The app itself is solid, I especially like how it integrates with Health Connect on Android to sync data easily. Overall, it’s been a structured, flexible, and supportive coaching experience that’s helped me stay consistent for the long haul.

Real Progress, Real Support

I’ve been using this app and working with my personal trainer for just over three months, and the experience has exceeded my expectations. After seeing the progress I was making, I genuinely enjoyed the process. I decided to extend my training, which says a lot in itself. From the very beginning, having an initial call to talk through my goals made a huge difference. I never once felt judged, only supported and encouraged, no matter where I was starting. As my journey has evolved, some of my goals have shifted, and my trainer has supported those changes 100% every step of the way. While overall body confidence is still my big-picture goal, I’m now also working toward specific strength milestones, including a pull-up and squat goal. In just about 3.5 months, I’ve gone from not being able to do a single full pull-up to being right on the edge of hitting three (and I’m confident I’ll get there next week!). My coach, Amanda, has also been incredibly helpful with my running goals. Even though the app doesn’t have a built-in way to track running progress, we’ve found a workaround that really speaks to her creativity, flexibility, and commitment to my success. If you’re on the fence, I truly believe investing in yourself and your body is worth it. It’s the one thing that stays with you your entire life

45 Year old beach ball to feeling 30 again

I came into Caliber at 45 and round as a beach ball. My trainer, Marco, explained the process, goals and psychology of body recomp. It’s been just over two months and I’m down 7 pant sizes, fit enough that I can see it in the mirror (which is mind blowing), sleeping better, have a ton more energy and just feel great about myself. It genuinely changed my life. It’s not easy, but if you follow your coach and do the work you get amazing results.

Great experience all around

Great experience all around. I've been working with Caliber for nearly 6 months - my personal trainer experience has been very strong (Quinlan). While he's on a different time zone than me, he's very responsive, gives good feedback, checks in regularly, and comes up with creative ideas on workouts, strength, recovery, and rehab. Having him review my form videos has been really helpful throughout. He keeps you accountable without being annoying. Very strong. The app is solid as well - maybe not the #1 workout app ever, but it allows for enough customization to keep it fresh, but simple enough to use and learn quickly. Overall very pleased; good value for the money in terms of the personal training experience.

Great Coaching Program

At first I had my doubts about Caliber considering the cost and the fact I'd never been in a coaching program but after 3 months I must say it's totally worth it for those who are kinda confused or just want some guidance. During this period I have learned a lot, and my coach was very understanding when I temporarily couldn't workout due to medical reasons. Nutrition is on point as well, and if you have any questions you can easily ask the coach in the app 10/10

Strength Training Made Approachable

I started working with a Caliber coach (Cassandra) after turning 40 and realizing I’d been feeling weaker overall. I was tired of chasing the number on the scale, so I decided to focus on a different goal: improving my lean-to fat mass ratio. I came to fitness later in life—I didn’t start running until my mid 20s, and even then, it’s still a very slow run. When I tried the Caliber app in 2024, I knew nothing about strength training, so I struggled to build a rhythm, much less a habit. Cassandra (my coach) has been great: she listens to my goals, concerns, and issues and uses that to shape my workouts, progressions, and next steps. We didn’t write a SMART goal about it (even though we should), but I needed to take this in baby steps, which Cassandra has helped me to do. She explains the why behind her suggestions, and what adjustments I can make on my own, which has made everything feel much more manageable. She’s also created separate workout plans for home and my office (where I have different equipment). She even built a body weight/resistance band routine for me to use while traveling over the holidays—and yes, I actually did a workout in the airport. Because I have a full time job, a young child, and a doctorate in progress, I asked for 20 minute sessions, and she customized everything accordingly. We didn’t even touch food logging or macros until about a month in, when I asked about it. Every time I have a question, she has a resource or tip ready to go. She’s been incredibly responsive. The weekly lessons have been super helpful, and working with Cassandra has helped me learn how to get the most out of the Caliber app. I’m not sure I’ll be able to keep up the 1:1 coaching forever because of the cost, but I now feel confident enough to continue with my current goals on my own. And if I ever switch gears and chase true gainz, I’d come back to coaching in a heartbeat. It’s been absolutely worth it. 5 stars for my coach 4 stars for the value – this was definitely a splurge
