Uriel is a confident, fun, and interesting teacher. He always makes me feel comfortable, and each class I have with him I leave feeling more confident with my Spanish. Out of the different Spanish teachers I have tried, he is my favourite. Highly recommend.
I've been studying with Uriel 2-3 times a week for the last 3 months. My Spanish has really improved! I love that he's helping me learn *real* Spanish, the way real people really speak it - not make-believe textbook Spanish. Thanks, Uriel!
I have been taking Spanish lessons with Uriel for 3 months (2 times a week), and am extremely happy with my choice to learn through Dutongui. I am proud of the progress that Uriel has helped coach me through in such a short time. The best part about learning with Dutongui is the flexibility in how and what you learn. In our first session, I had expressed how I am comfortable learning the grammar rules outside of our sessions and want our meetings to focus on talking more naturally. Uriel is so friendly and fun, so we immediately start chatting about anything and everything. Typically he will guide the conversation topics to be relevant to grammar and vocabulary that I am hoping to work on. (Ex: We candidly talked about childhood memories when I wanted to practice the difference between imperfect and preterite tenses.) However, if I ever want a more formal classroom lesson on a specific topic, Uriel comes prepared and teaches me in a structured, entertaining way. My favorite thing specific to Uriel as my tutor is his soft but clear way of correcting mistakes. If you are considering learning another language, Dutongui really is a great option!
Ariel is one of the best professor I have ever had. He always have some good tips about the culture, language and Life. I definetly recommend him.
My instructor is Uriel Benitez. I am very pleased with my lessons primarily because 1) We converse in Espanol. I struggle and he patiently corrects me. 2) He takes notes on our conversation and sends them to me via email so I can review them. 3) He sends worksheets after each lesson that I try to learn before the next lesson. 4) The conversations I am learning are pertinent and practical. 5) He is efficient, polite and flexible with my schedule. I really do enjoy these lessons and highly recommend them. Sincerely, Francie
I’m taking spanish with Uriel, he’s a great teacher, And he also speaks perfect english, so there’s never any communication issues. I enjoy our topics of discussion from travel to politics. Most of the time, It doesn’t even seem like learning, just two friends having a conversation. Muchas Gracias Uriel!
Uriel is a natural teacher. He is always well prepared with lessons and activities that fit my individual needs. His lessons are fun and engaging, which is why my Spanish is improving so quickly. Gracias Uriel!
I have tried many tutors in my quest to reach fluency in Spanish. I struck gold when I found Uriel. He is friendly, motivated, and truly understands how to teach effectively. You will speak real Spanish and have real conversations as though chatting with a friend. Uriel is blessed with the gift of conversation so every class is interesting and passes quickly. He encourages students to speak and makes corrections in a gentle and patient manner. The focus is not only on speaking grammatically correct, but also improving pronunciation and reducing one’s accent. I would recommend lessons with Uriel to anyone looking for affordable, quality instruction. You will become comfortable with the language in a short amount of time and you will have fun.
I'm taking the dutongui program and having a wonderful time! I'm learning a lot and the study materials are very well organized and easy to understand. Their tutors are fantastic. Definitely worth your time and money. I've learned more in a handful of sessions than I did in 2 years of college courses.
I had one other teacher in the past who was from Spain and he was alright. But Uriel, on the other hand, has surely improved my Spanish while making it entertaining. TOTALLY WOULD RECCOMEND!
Uriel is such an excellent instructor! I look forward to my lessons each week and am amazed by the progress I am making in learning Spanish. I have been learning so much, so fast, while having fun!
