23 JTR Overland plus 3.5" lift
I installed the lift on my shop floor by myself, the instructions with pictures helped a lot! Overall the kit looks beefy and good quality. I have about 1000 miles on the lift so far, set to their recommended starting points, and it drives great. Some snags that I ran into installing my first lift (not all of these are Clayton's fault, but some extra notes in the instructions would have helped): 1. Rear extended brake lines are side specific (my fault). 2. The listed torque values for the swaybar end links are inconsistent. The printed instructions say 60 ftlbs but the picture with extra details of the links say 90-100ft lbs if I recall correctly. I had an aluminum spacer look like it was deforming at 55ft lbs so I stopped there.... 3. Jam nuts, the instructions list an astronomical torque value ~390 ft lbs and ~800 ft lbs for the small and large jam nuts respectively. I knew that before ordering the kit so I got their jam nut tool, my torque wrench only goes up to 250 ft lbs so I shot for that as a minimum, the 3rd jam nut i torqued deformed their tool. Clayton did warranty the tool and shipped it to me free of charge, so A+ for that. But, they recommended not exceeding 200 ft lbs on their tools when I was discussing what happened. In the end, I can see how that is reasonable but I'd prefer to be given proven adequate valves not max torque. Couple other notes, I added more anti-sieze to every control arm joint threads. They had some, but not much. I also installed a cheap 1.5" rear driveshaft carrier bearing drop kit as recommended by other forums. I feel like that should be included in this kit for how cheap that part was for the given lift size. Overall I recommend buying this product and I would buy it again. If you're a veteran contact them for a discount, they helped me out!

Had Metal Cloak rear upper arms
Had Metal Cloak rear upper arms, too short at and end of adjustment. Clayton arms are perfect fit with excellent adjustability. Threaded joints are much smaller then than the previous Metal Cloak however seem to be strong enough time will tell. So far happy with product. Would recommend-needed extended length rear upper arms for my lifted jeep and these are a perfect fit for the application.
