My 9 year old son has taken several courses with Codewizardshq to date, and he continues to ask for more classes and more challenges. The classes are truly built with intentional structure and teachers are engaging and fun. As a parent, I’ve been able to connect with staff (especially David) virtually and have felt extreme care and attention from the team. My son willingly wakes up early morning to attend class and complete homework assignments. My daughter is looking forward to starting this summer as well. Lots of detailed material and enthusiastic instructors!
My son has a great teacher named Chris, he's so friendly and enthusiastic about the content and actually seems interested when they share about themselves and is still about to keep the class on track. I'll be honest I can't even keep up with what he's learning at this point but everything looks amazing when he's done. It's not just fluff material either, my son is a selective type of student and has dropped other online classes if they weren't detailed enough. Get your kid in this young and keep going, they will keep challenging them!
My son completed the high school track in January of 2026. This was a three-year course plus an internship class. He loved all the classes and instructors. The lessons are challenging, especially for someone with no prior coding experience, as was the case with my son. There is ample time during class to ask questions, and other resources that provide help when needed. They want your child to succeed. Regarding parent interaction, Codewizardshq never took more than a day to respond to any question I had. The parent dashboard and weekly report are invaluable for record-keeping as well as keeping your child accountable. Codewizardshq was a win-win choice for us. Highly recommend!

Amazing continues classes
Amazing continues classes. started in middle school now at high school level. introducing new things to learn. small classes, amazing instructors, and excellent customer servicem Highly recommend it.
The class was very engaging for my 13 year old son and the instructor was kind and patient. The material was well paced. While my son does not enjoy doing school work he really enjoys the coding class.
Overall, CodewizardHq has been a good learning platform for my son. He started at age 11, and I would recommend treating it more like a long-term curriculum rather than a short course program. Completing all the modules may realistically take 4-5 years, depending on the student’s pace and depth of learning. Personally, I feel the structured approach and long-term learning journey are well worth it.
Classes are too crowded. A ratio of six students to one teacher in an online class is clearly too high. There is also no adequate support system for homework—because the class is so crowded, the teacher doesn’t have time to review it. They offer a daily homework help session, but it is scheduled during your child’s school hours (2:00 PM Pacific Time).

Our classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of six students, which allows for interaction, collaboration, and instructor guidance during live lessons. The class time itself is designed to build on prior work and introduce new concepts, while individual support—especially for homework—is provided outside of class through additional resources.
In addition to lesson materials, recordings, and written homework guides, we offer live instructor support through daily Homework Help sessions and scheduled Office Hours for more personalized, one-on-one assistance. We understand that the standard Homework Help time may not fit every student’s schedule each week, and in those cases, Office Hours are the best way to ensure students receive the individual attention they need at a time that works for them to ensure student come to class with homework completed.
It looks like our team has already been in touch regarding these challenges, and we will be reaching out again to help find a path forward that better supports your student. Please know, our structured learning has been built over the past 10 years alongside educational professionals and proven with the data and reviews of thousands of successful students and parents. However we also recognize that each learner’s needs and schedule can be different, and we’re committed to working with you to improve the experience and find the right balance for your student.
It was hard for my daughter to start at the beginning, especially dealing with both sights, but after a few lessons and great instructor she is doing well and willing to continue.

This is a SUPER program. My son (15) not only looks forward to this class weekly, but he is learning tons! I love the amazing amount of support that is offered to both students AND parents. I find it a bit pricy, but that is not to say it is not worth it....WORTH EVERY PENNY!
