My daughters recently attended the Roblox creator camp and had a blast. The site manager Steven was excellent to work with, he was friendly and communicative. But most importantly he made sure my kids had fun! They had a mixture of indoor and outdoor play and came home very excited to show me the games they built inside Roblox (which were very impressive). This was our first time at Creator Camp and we will definitely come back again!
Claire had an amazing camp "Hollywood Filmmaker" with Miss Kayleigh (Clear Lake) ! Even though this was just a 3-day program, Claire came home screaming "best camp ever" just after the first day, and by day 3 she was sad about it ending. Miss Kayleigh was an amazing camp teacher; she gently guided my daughter back on track when she got distracted and taught her so much about video editing. She even made the cutest hand drawn note with my daughter's favorite bird on the last day. We're completely blown away! Thank you Miss Kayleigh!
This Camp is great! They do what they advertise! They follow through and make sure the kids are taken care of! They make the kids feel welcome!!
This is my child’s second year at Creator Camp. It is well organized. Staff are friendly and helpful and caring. My kiddo had Eric again this year. He loved him last year and has been beyond happy to have him again. Eric continues to be incredible and one of his favourite parts of camp.
Philip was great. My daughter loved learning and creating videos. It kept her engaged and was fun!
My son had so much fun with two of the camps! The Lego animation was super cool and then the following week he had Digital 3D gamers camp and made an awesome game with Mr. Izzy. He was very interactive with the kids and they enjoyed him!
Our son loved the camps and wants to attend more in the future. Thank you to Joseph for taking care of our son while he attended!
I do not recommend this camp because the teachers are very strict, there is limited free time or relaxing time on devices, they make you do too much work. One time I saw a review that a boy was on an educational website after finishing his video, and a teacher yelled at him and made him do more work on videos when he already finished his assignment. I think that is very shocking based on how much work they have put on their videos, and they can't get a break. Also, for "recess" you would think they would let the kids go outside and get some fresh air after being on an iPad for so long, but they make them go to another indoor room and quietly eat lunch. Overall, this camp was not something we would do again, and I don't think you should sign up.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take all reviews seriously, as they help us evaluate our programs and ensure we are providing the best possible experience for our families. We would like to address a few of the points you raised: Classroom Expectations: While we do not necessarily push our teachers to be strict, we are deeply committed to teaching our students actual, tangible skills. To do that effectively, maintaining class order is essential. The Review You Mentioned: We are not aware of the other review you referenced. However, our policy is that if a student is not on task, our instructors will step in to get them back on track. Breaks and Routine: What you described regarding recess does not sound like our camp. We intentionally schedule two designated breaks throughout the day. Both of these breaks are completely screen-free, and our team works hard to ensure they are active, engaging, and fun for the kids after their structured learning time. We are sorry to hear that your experience didn't align with your expectations, but we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to reach out to our management team directly.
Our grandson had a fabulous time at the camp! He loved the content and all of the new friends!
My daughter had a good time at the summer camp held at Liberty Christian school. Ms. Ashlyn was amazing with her. Thank you.
Noah had a wonderful time at this camp. Each day at pickup, he said he had a lot of fun. On the last day, he told me, " Thanks, Mom, for signing me up for this awesome camp. He said the staff was kind and helpful!
Ms. Dani, Ms. M, Ms. Sam and Mr. Sam, and Ms. Faye were amazing. My daughter loves Creator Camp. Great job teaching the animation. The final project was really cool.
My son enjoyed learning special effect techniques and enjoyed working on a group project for the last day presentation.
YouTube Creator Camp was great! My daughter and son both had a wonderful time! My daughter especially loved Ellie!! Thank you Ellie, for understanding kids! My son loved Mr. Jones! He said he was the best! Thank you so much!
My son has never enjoyed a camp so much. He literally said he couldn’t wait until the next day. He learned a lot and truly enjoyed his time at the YouTube Gamers Creators camp. He enjoyed the encouragement from his camp leader, Kai, and was proud of himself for the videos he created with Kai’s instruction. He now has a new hobby and a lot of self confidence.
Just did the Lego animators camp! We loved it. Brad, the instructor in North Houston, was awesome! This Is our 3rd camp and this one was by far our favorite! We really like the MET building they run out of. Highly recommended.
Day one nerves vanished quickly! My 11 year-old camper was nervous on the first day, but the teacher, Ms Nyla, made her feel welcome. They also paired up to work on a music video, which my camper really enjoyed. Lots of useful instruction that campers can take forward at home. Recommend.
My daughter had a great experience at Creator Camp - Roblox. Her counselor Sam was really sweet and supportive.
Our son just completed a 3 day camp here for music and beats and he had a great time with Ms. Nyla. We were impressed with what he learned and produced in the short amount of time and he is looking forward to the next one.
Camp is a hard sell for my 9yo son. He's been to many over many years, and few are awarded an overall positive review by him. Creator Camp locked in as top choice from Day One. He was excited to go every day, and was excited to keep working on his projects the moment he got home. He was sad when it ended and can't wait to go again.
