First Class Resources From CWG Ministries

I have purchased workbooks and downloaded presentations that are first class, easy to understand and apply in my daily life. I also recommend CWG resources for my Christian Life Coaching clients who struggle with fully grasping the power of Holy Spirit. I especially enjoyed the Naturally Supernatural training series of 13 videos this Nov 2022 and ordered the download files.

I am concerned about anything that…

I am concerned about anything that smacks of name -it and- claim -it. Can you assure me that this ministry is not about positive confession, New Thought or Christian Science??

Response from Mark Virkler: We discuss what we believe is a Biblically balanced teaching on speaking words of faith. We believe that if the Bible speaks God’s will for us we are to speak the same thing. Anything else would be sin. We also believe that we don’t do things on our own initiative, but we listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to us, and we speak what He says. So we speak what the Bible says and we speak what the Holy Spirit says. There is no phrase in the Bible of “name it claim it.” So if you are asking, do we of our own initiative, name and claim things that WE want, then the answer is NO WE DON’T. We honor the Bible and the Spirit and we speak what the Bible and the Spirit tells us to speak. This blog explores these ideas in greater detail: https://www.cwgministries.org/blogs/7-step-word-faith-miracle-model It examines the life of Abraham, the Father of Faith, and how God changed his name from Abram to Abraham. Abraham means “father of many nations,” and yet he was 99 and had no child by his wife, Sarah. Now whenever he said to a person, “Hello, my name is Abraham,” what is he doing? Is this name it claim it, or is this speaking what God told him to speak. Was Abraham trying to call forth the destiny he had chosen for himself, or was He following divine initiative and speaking what God told him to speak. The result was a year later Sarah had their first child when he was 100 years of age (Gen. 21:1-5). He called those things that were not yet visible as though they were true because God told him they were true and God told him to speak them. So is this “name it claim it” or is this the lifestyle of faith being modeled for us by the Father of Faith? I guess each of us will need to seek the Lord for the proper answer. We believe it is part of the lifestyle of faith. We believe God spoke the worlds into existence and that He calls us to do the same. I used to speak death over myself. For example “I have a B level brain.” God reminded me that the Bible say, I have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16) and that is NOT a B level mind, so stop speaking/claiming death over myself. Speak what He has said about me over myself, not what the accuser says about me. So yes, we all name and claim something over ourselves. I have chosen to stop naming and claiming things about myself or about life, which are contrary to what the Bible and the Spirit says about me. Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Prov. 18:21). Choose life.

God always blesses me through the material from this ministry!

Our family has been using Communion With God Ministries material for nearly 20 years, first hearing Mark teach in Danbury, CT, in 2003(?). We love Mark & now, Charity's, transparency. The teachings are always Biblically based. This entire ministry is a gift! Karen, in the home office, sweetly unravels glitches on my end for online use. In our 10+ years of ordering material, hard copies always ship quickly & accurately. There is a huge resource of free material at the cwg website. The free online events give everyone an opportunity preview material. Father's heart is shalom shalom for all. This ministry faithfully partners with Him, for His Glory & freedom for mankind.
