Hit Harder Now!
Got my bat at the beginning of March 2026.
I am a former professional player 1994-2000.
Noticed how the ball jumps off the barrel a little harder than with a standard wood bat. The barrel is huge!
Hit a hard line drive off the end and broke the handle. Had a replacement by the end of the week. Awesome customer service. Three of my teammates have already ordered their own. This bat is legit.

Thanks Greg - and high praise coming from a professional. Appreciate it.
I got a 34” and it has a lot of pop. My first AB I hit a hard liner to the first baseman and ripped his glove, I wish I was recording at the time. But it definitely feels lighter than a regular maple 34” would feel and the sweet spot is huge. I’ll definitely be buying another if I brake this one.
I also let some veterans in an adult league use it and they’re considering getting one for themselves.

Thanks Lalo... love to hear your getting through the zone so well - i'm sure that first baseman wasn't so psyched. Appreciate the comment.

Got a taste of swinging the 33/30 in a Memorial Day Weekend tourney and it rocked! Excellent EV, umpire said I murdered that ball! Been using it the past 2 weekends, crushed one on a line past the left fielder to the fence for a standup double. Even got a hit off the end of the bat. Very forgiving and the big barrel helps fighting off good pitches. Definitely feels like I’m swinging a metal composite bat. Not having any trouble recommending to my teammates, as it’s speaking for itself. I’m hooked!

Adult League Baseball
Adult League Baseball.
Negatives: slightly end loaded. I'm 5'10, 210lbs and lift on the regular. I choke up on the 33in model because it can be a little hard to manage through the zone. It would be tough for an untrained younger player to rip it and maintain barrel consistency.
Positives: the grip is very comfortable,(with a slightly flared knob) but gave out in the first week. It's seen heavy t-work, 3 short cage sessions and 2 games- no structural issues. The sweet spot is enormous with great pop. I do think it is getting hotter with more swings, but have no numerical data to back it up.
My other gamer was a Baum bat and it's not close to the Delano. Again, not close... The Baum might have the smallest sweet spot of any bat on the market and will ring your hands up if you cast the barrel. The Delano seems to absorb everything and takes miss hits as good or better than any wood or composite bat I've owned.
The sound of the Crack is a slightly higher register than a true Maple, but is still very rewarding and not noticeable to anyone other than the user going back and forth between each bat.
The size of the Delano's sweet spot separates it from everything else. I do think its worth the cost if it holds up for multiple seasons. I have watched the BatBros videos and concede there might be bats with slightly higher (2-3 mph) exit velocities. But having a sweet spot twice as big as the next closest competitor far exceeds the difference in exit speeds. Not to mention the barrel diameter is the max legal limit. $400 is hard to justify for a lot of folks, but if you're "all in" and looking for the best wood bat on the market...this is the gold standard.
Last thing.. it is a little awkward looking because of the size of, and writing on, the barrel. Makes it look like a wood softball bat. They need to produce a two-tone model with a natural handle and black barrel to hide the size of the thing a little.
Hope this helps.
An Honest grownup.

I play in a men’s league
I play in a men’s league, for years I’ve used the muzuno sugardaddy 243. Went to Atl for a tournament and teammate had this bat, I’ve heard about it and he let me use it. The ball exploded off the bat!! I bought on online right there, shipping was fast, got it just before a league game. Second at bat I hit a bomb! Highly recommend this bat!!

Hey Bobby, really appreciate the feedback and your business (and your teammate for sharing). Cheers to the rest of your season.
Excellent bat and excellent customer service. We were at a tournament and needed a replacement bat and they shipped it within 24hrs. No other company would have done that. A+++++

Super impressive bat!
We hear it might be banned.
Can you give us some feedback maybe clarify on what we are hearing?
Reply from Delano Bat Company2026-06-11
Thanks Cesar - appreciate the feedback. Banned by who? We know The Gamer should not be used in leagues/tournaments who mandate solid wood, and we know that each league/tournament has its own rules, so we always recommend players to check with their league before they buy. We are trying to stay on top of things, but there are a LOT of leagues and tournament providers out there. Feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have more questions. Thanks
This company is just flat out a great company to deal with. Customer Service is some of the best a place could offer. Highly recommend!

Best wood composite baseball ever!!!
I have my Baum bat for sale. Enough said! This bat blows the Baum away by 1000%. Most juiced wood composite bat ever.
Reply from Delano Bat Company2026-06-09
Enough said, indeed - Thanks Scott. While we are proud of the Gamer's performance, it is still subject to BBCOR spec, so we believe the bat's swing/feel help hitters find theirs at the plate. It's the pilot, more than the plane. :)

Delano Bat Company has really stepped up to the plate! I have ordered a total of 3 bats (not all for myself). The one I had ordered was a 32, and I wasn't happy with it. DBC stepped up and sent me another one right away. This bat feels SO much better! Thank you so much!!

First off the bat was shipped and arrived in a very timely manner. For me that’s much appreciated as my son broke his wood bat the week prior. We were starting summer select ball so time wasn’t on our side. He liked the feel of the bat from the get go. He hit a three run home run the first game off of our first tournament. It swings lite and doesn’t have negative feedback on the hands. So the company did their job and the bat is as advertised.

Hey Thomas - thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. We're thrilled you/your son are pleased with both the service and the bat's feel at the plate. Your business and support are much appreciated.

Awesome bat
Customer service was excellent. My 16 yr old son thought the Baum bat was okay but wasn’t crazy about it. While watching bat bros on YouTube they were testing out the Delano Gamer. I never heard of it. They gave Just from a visual in a video the large barrel, similar to the Combat, was appealing. My grandson mostly swings a 33” and sometimes a 32”. We ordered a 32” thinking it may be a tad heavy. The bat arrived in a few days. My grandson is rather picky but likes what he likes. He absolutely loved the bat. He liked the thickness of the handle. Not too thick or too thin. The bat had a lot of pop and was even good on miss hits. He said the bat felt balanced and said it felt lighter than expected. He loves the bat and if it holds up we would definitely recommend it.

I play in a senior men’s baseball league and am 56 years old. I love the bat. It has a very large forgiving sweet spot. Lots of pop. And end loaded, easy to swing, with increased bat velocity. I assume it will not break easy as it is made from strong composite wood and carbon. Highly recommended the bat! The bat Bros gave a great review on utube.

Balanced bat, giant sweet spot, worth the marginal cost difference.
Purchased an Original Gamer for my 14U son for PG wood bat tournaments this summer. He had been using a LS RA13 Composite, but it was a too long, so got the right size in the Delano. Used it in one PG tournament so far and the bat performed great. It has a nice, balanced swing that matches his Atlas metal bat. The barrel shows no signs of wear after multiple cage sessions and games. Also not experiencing any sting like you get with real wood and other composite bats.

I was skeptical about the reviews and even more at dropping $350+ on a wood bat. However once it arrived, I started to swing it exclusively. After finishing a Memorial Day tournament, it will be the only bat I pull out of my bag.

Great Bat!
My son practices with a Baum Bat and took such a liking to the sound/feel of hitting with wood that he wanted to use the Baum during Babe Ruth games instead of using a metal bat. This began a search for a wooden bat that would offer what he liked about the Baum, but which would perform better in games where there tend to be more varied contact points. In our experience, the barrel of the Delano Gamer is more forgiving than the Baum, and is a better choice for use in games. The sound on a well-struck ball is sooooo satisfying, and the performance seems quite similar to many top metal BBCOR offerings. Shipping was fast. It's a little early, but durability seems great so far... no cracks, nothing beyond normal impact stains/scratches. Very happy so far and would definitely recommend. Only suggestion would be perhaps additional grip options when ordering.
