I’ve been with them since 2024 and have accomplished so much more than I ever thought I would. I only came apart of the DeVry family with a phlebotomy technician license now I have my Medical Billing and Coding and almost done with my Associates in Health Information Technology. Next stop will be my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

Coding made easy...
DeVry University made learning how to code and design electronic components for many applications pretty easy. This has helped me with my work in creating better electronic parts for my hobby machines (RC car, drones, RC airplanes) and also helped give me a boost in my career. It has also assisted with creating virtual learning tools for those that cannot afford college, but want to learn how to make their own code.

The professors are very helpful, the advisors call you and check on you to make sure everything is going good. Financial advisors explain your financial plan. Career advisors help you to get on track and what you need to do when looking for a job

The school is good, but the advisors tell me something different each time. If I ask one advisor something I get a different answer from the next one. It is also really hard to get someone to answer the phone.

For the most part I like this university but only reason I didn’t vote 5 stars is because of the fact when you take breaks from something usually you don’t wanna get bothered. I took a break from school to focus on life and I get it that they care but it felt forced because they would give multiple “courtesy calls”. it just started to become an ick because I would get so many within a few weeks and it would drive me crazy. Making it hard to wanna continue school, but besides that they are the best school I attend since high school years. 4/5.

I didn't have a positive experience. First off the instructors were not helpful when I needed help. Secondly I only had 1 tutorer who was helpful. And lastly I was unable to find a job after graduation in my field because they require more education and I feel Devry lied about how easy it would be to get a job.

To be honest before attending DeVry I had little experience with typing skills and different things such as PowerPoint and Excell. I only surfed the web and shopped, so DeVry has helped me learn more, my experiences with learning things I never knew/knew very little of, my classes were great, classmates are awesome as well and I enjoy the weekly live lessons as well. The support from Professors and student advisors are great and very helpful, the resources and etc is easy to access as well. However, I had one Professor that left a bad taste in my mouth ( Professor Hogan) that I don't want as a Professor again: I will say that you can tell the difference between a educator who genuinely cares and the ones that made it and in it for the income I was so glad when that session ended because I learned more about her family and accomplishments. I love DeVry so much that im a returning student and I just graduated last month in Chicago with my Bachelors and im in my fourth week of my last class of Entrepreneurship now, and I graduated with my Associates back in 2019, that shows that I love DeVry and learning, keep doing what you're doing.
