The questions are good
The questions are good. Im able to see the mistakes i made and the explanations for those,so that i dont make the same mistake again. The option of re taking the same exam is a good one to test our learning from mistakes. Overall it;s good.

Hi Dharanima,
Thanks for the great feedback!
We’re happy to hear that the explanations and mistake review feature are helping you understand the questions and learn from your mistakes. Retaking the tests is a great way to check your progress and make sure those tricky questions stick before the real exam.
Best of luck with your test!

There’s multiple tests with different questions on them, so I don’t accidentally or automatically just remember the answers. I am shown the answers I got wrong and it explains why it’s wrong. Thats very very helpful!

Thanks for sharing your experience, Lexi!
We love hearing that the variety of questions and answer explanations are helping you actually learn the material instead of just memorizing answers. Reviewing the questions you missed is one of the best ways to find your weak spots and keep improving with each test.
We appreciate you choosing us, and we wish you the best of luck on your exam! 🎯

I haven't had a license in over 30 years and need ro take my learners permit again. These practice test have been more helpful than just reading the book by itself.

Hi Page,
Thanks for sharing your experience!
We’re glad to hear the practice tests have been helpful. Combining the driver’s manual with DMV-style practice tests is a great way to study: the manual helps you learn the rules, and the practice tests help you check your knowledge and get comfortable with the format of the real exam.
Best of luck with your learner’s permit test, and we hope to see you back on the road soon! 🚗

A Good Practice Test
The wording of some of the choices required being re-read. For the most part all the questions were relevant, but a few were a little outside of normal driving experience.

Thanks for your feedback, Janna!
You’re absolutely right that carefully reading the questions and answer choices is key. The DMV exam is well known for tricky wording, and our practice tests keep that same format so you can get familiar with it before the real test and walk in better prepared.
Regarding the questions that felt outside of normal driving experience, those topics come directly from the official driver’s manual. Some situations, like emergencies or uncommon road scenarios, may not happen every day, but they’re included because they help drivers know how to respond when they do.
Thanks again for sharing your experience, and best of luck on the road!

I actually thought this was awful. You did not Target the specific endorsement I was looking for. Every test was General Knowledge Questions not hazmat. Clumsy to navigate. I was better off using a free site.

Hi Mike,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and we’re sorry to hear about your experience.
Our CDL Premium program includes practice tests for all CDL endorsements, including HazMat, which are available within the CDL section of your account (via the menu on desktop or the truck/bus icon on mobile).
It sounds like this section may not have been accessed during your practice, which may have led to some confusion.
We’ve also contacted you privately and processed a full refund for your order.
If you have any remaining questions, feel free to reach out at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help.
Best regards,
The DMV-Permit-Test.com Team

Short and simple
Short, simple, and gets to the point. However, some questions are a little iffy, as some signs I've never seen before. Like pink signs for instance.
The more I thought into the review, me not knowing the sign isn’t really the tests fault. I guess, the questions in general can feel more underground in a way. Very specific questions, though it helped me pass. So props to this exam, however. Upon taking my test, why was the practice exam before the legit permit test just ask me “What animal is this?”. I’m pretty positive that’s not really practice, anywho. Overall a useful tool for studying, gets the job done well.

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you found the tests clear and to the point.
About the pink signs: totally fair point. They’re part of the official Traffic Incident Management system, but they’re only used in special situations like crashes, emergency road work, or natural disasters, so many drivers never actually see them in real life.
Appreciate you taking the time to share this, you’re studying the details carefully.
Best of luck on your exam and stay safe on the road!

Once I got into the correct place it was easy to manuver through. The format was good to work through. One glitch is that I had to pay for the program twice. Not sure what happened there. I liked that it provided the multiple choice format. Made it easier to remember. Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear the platform was easy to navigate and helped with remembering the material.
Regarding the double charge you mentioned, that shouldn’t happen. Please reach out to us at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to investigate and sort this out for you.
Thanks again for choosing us, and best of luck with your exam!

The practice tests helped
The practice tests helped. But on the KY motorcycle permit test, the questions were very different and very few were the same question that was differently worded.
All in all I did pass the KY motorcycle permit test on the first attempt.

Hi Brian,
Congratulations on passing your Kentucky motorcycle permit test on the first try! 🎉
Thanks for sharing your feedback, we’re glad to hear the practice tests helped.
We also appreciate your note about the wording and question style on the real exam. That’s actually a key point: DMV tests often present the same core concepts in different ways, so questions may look different on the surface even when they test the same rules.
That said, we take accuracy very seriously and regularly review our content against the official Motorcycle Operator’s Manual to make sure everything stays aligned. We’ll also keep monitoring feedback like yours as part of that process.
Best of luck on the road, and ride safe!

Thanks for sharing your feedback, Jeb.
We’re sorry to hear that your experience with the motorcycle written test was frustrating.
Our motorcycle practice questions are based on the official Motorcycle Operator’s Manual, which is the same source used for the real exam.
Each practice test covers a different mix of topics from the manual. Since you mentioned you completed 2 of the 20+ available practice tests, it’s possible that other topics that appeared on your exam are covered in the remaining tests.
We wish you the best of luck on your retake, and safe riding!
