DogVacay ❤️ is an excellent website to look for a dog-sitter. I cancelled my reservations at PetSmart Petshotel and Best Friends cause I found an awesome lady at DogVacay to take care of my dog. Dogs boarding at Pets Hotel are barking too much. Plus I learned that only one worker is on duty to take care of dogs overnight.
Brandi is truly the dog whisperer of LA! She took such great care of my Ruby, taking her on one and one and group walks. She socialized Ruby with other dogs when I myself have been too nervous to do that after an attack. She sent me daily pictures and always kept me up to date of there activities and time together. Thank you so much Brandi.
I have used DogVacay many times and have used several different pet sitters. I have not had anything but wonderful experiences. Every sitter I have met has taken my dog in as one of their own. I recommend this service to all of my friends who are struggling to find a reliable pet sitter.
I would only leave my dog with someone that I knew loved my dog as if he were his/her own. Kristi is the perfect example of this. Very reliable, responsive, and caring! Someone was home almost every hour of the day, and that is what I wanted for Stan because of his separation anxiety. Thank you Kristi and family!

Five star(or more!) customer service! We were cancelled by our usual sitter last minute and could not find a backup sitter who fits our requirement on our own so we contacted DogVacay. And no more than 20 min I got the phone call from the concierge. I forgot her name but she's extremely helpful, asking about my requirements, confirming days and time, and sending request to sitters who might meet our needs on our behalf. And soon enough we found a match! I couldn't recommend DogVacay/Rover enough since I do feel they put their customers in the first place.
This is so easy and you know that you are getting a responsible pet lover who will treat your pet just as you would! All my experiences have been good and I will continue to use DogVacay and tell all my fur-parent friends!
I love having options and reviews for dog sitters, and getting to meet the sitters and their dogs beforehand. This is a great way to find a sitter!

This is a great service, I appreciate that they've done background checks, you get to pick your host, the hosts are awesome, the prices are reasonable, you gets lots of pictures and updates and the care is excellent in-home care that can't be given at a boarding facility no matter how fancy.
The sitter never showed up and left our dogs alone. This is a terrible company and the sitters are not properly vetted. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Maxine was absolutely terrific with my dogs! It is such a relief to feel like you're leaving your dogs with a caring, concerned person; Maxine was all that and more. She let them stay in bed with her (they are small dogs), and didn't mind them sitting with her on the furniture. She's retired so they got lots of one-on-one time with her. She is a retired nurse, thus there's the added comfort of someone with healthcare experience taking care of my dogs. She was fantastic about staying in contact and sending photos of the dogs. All in all a great experience
DogVacy was fantastic! It was an easy, convenient alternative to the dog kennel. My dog was well looked after by a very profession and courteous sitter in the comforts of home while I was away.
