Will use forever 'cause I got Lifetime Subscription
I am on my 6th year with this company. To this day I practiced almost 900h with DownDog. I absolutely love the app and its versatility. You can choose the type of yoga you want to practice (Vinyasa, Restorative, Hatha, Yin, Gentle, Chair, Ashtanga, Sun Salutations, variety of other flows, Nidra...) customise your level, length, music, instructions, boosts and much more... The practice is generated, so unless you save it, you will never have the same practice twice. They keep updating the app every once in a while. I went through some big and small changes over the past years like updates of the background, updating asanas and re-filming the model, adding different voice actors or recently liking or disliking poses. I am excited about every change DD presents. They have their daughter apps, too- Barre, Meditation, Prenatal or HIIT that you can use under the same subscription at no additional charge. I really like Barre and I am hoping for Pilates app one day :) I invested into a lifetime subscription, that is not available anymore, but from what I saw, the yearly subscription is still fairly priced and if you are lucky, you can even snatch a good deal usually around Labor Day- New Year period which is so extremely low, that I would need to be with DD for 10 years to get my lifetime subscription money worth back. Also, it is remarkable that this company offered their app for free during covid and other critical times for humankind. They still offer the app at no cost for schools/teachers and as I have witnessed many times in DownDog FB group, when you as an individual struggle or hit a rough time, you may be given free access too. They are very understanding about what you as a person are going through, I have never seen a company like that. A company that is willing to support your body/mental health, even though you can't currently afford it! I am a big fan of DownDog, it is the best Yoga app that I have used and as long as they keep being awesome, I will continue to use them!
Flexible and reasonable
Lots of different options and levels. You can also choose the time and the language. Some may say it is repetitive, although you can now select poses you want to use more or less. It's also very reasonably priced. Obviously going to physical classes has benefits that you cannot have with an app. However I think that as apps go this is the best, and have just renewed my subscription. There are also some good Yoga videos available on YouTube, but I got fed up with the marketing and 'inspiring' words on so many of these.
Fraudulent company
Fraudulent charge - for the second year I have been charged for a subscription of this app even though I do not have it on my phone and it is not listed in my subscriptions. I have tried contact the company and heard nothing, this is a complete scam. DO NOT DOWNLOD
Great App.
I love this App. I initially used it for Yoga but I find the meditation app excellent. My kids even find it really useful and join me for mediation on occasion.
Good service, and great apps!
My subscription were coming to an and, and because I am a student, I couldn't currently afford extending it. I wrote the team, and they just extended it with 6 months and giving me a discount promo without batting an eye. Very good service! And very good apps!
Love it!
This app has been making me so much stronger and more flexible. The music is really great as well, and most of the time I enjoy the sequences. It can get slightly repetitive if you're doing it every day, so I mix it up with going to live classes here and there or doing a yoga video on YouTube. I love that Down Dog offers Intermediate 2 and Advanced modes, which are more challenging than your average yoga class. I would advise not increasing your practice time too quickly. I slightly injured myself in the beginning from pushing too hard. It is a really challenging program, and it's taken me years to build up from 30 minutes of Intermediate 1 to 80 minutes Intermediate 2.

I have used this app for 6 years. It is by far rhe best our there, and the quality and variety of sessions make it impossible to get bored! The customer service is excellent. I can not fault it.

They keep taking your money DO NOT SET UP DIRECT DEBIT WITH THEM
I did subscribe to the app and used it briefly but it wasn’t for me. Too robotic- I removed the app and cancelled. - however they took a year’s subscription without my knowledge more than a year ago and my emails were ignored. And now out of the blue they took what seems like a monthly direct debit ! This random taking of money is shocking my bank has now blocked them from my account- shocking behaviour AVOID
Love it!!
I really love this app! You can customize the level and speed of the yoga you want to practice and it is presented in a straightforward, clear and concise way. Thankfully there are no wordy explanations or annoying commentary. It just lets you do your yoga with your choice of background music and voiced instructions. Really love it!! Thank you!!
Solid app
I really like the the app. I used it a lot more during lockdown, and probably less now that I can go back to classes, but it’s perfect if you want to fit in a practice at home. I like the music and the way it can be amended to your preference.

Basic and DULL!!!!
Keeps auto renewing, even though I haven't used it, and didn't get a notification of renewal (IMO that's sneaky!) I have contacted them (no answer!) Eventually I found the answer on google for myself Only signed up for the free trial, didn't even use that as it is dull: music is annoying, instructor voices annoying, the sessions repetative and unimaginative There is no user feedback for the routines generated so you either have to do a practise you dont want to do or you have to do the same 5 exercises....this is the same with yoga, HITT, pre-natal etc. There is not even a count down timer during each stretch.
I love this app
I love this app. Probably the only app I don't mind to pay yearly subscription. Compare to cost of real classes. I'm using this app over 3year on and off. (Doing yoga for over 15 years) And still very happy with the choices. I like the options for length, music background and style of yoga. Very Happy!
Great but so many flaws !!!
I used this app for 3 years straight... I went to basic level to intermediate 2... But motivation has disappeared as frustration begun to rise... I do love yoga but the major thing that I made me quit is the same positions over and over again ! I was just fed up with Warrior I, II, III with skandasana etc... No... It's impossible not to be bored by that ! I was suprised to see some very advanced position into intermediate 1 (Sériously, The stand-up split ???What the heck ?) Same for the Yin yoga... There is a bunch of over 8000 asanas... you should have put Mudra Yoga and Pranayama too... I have a mixed feeling between gaving your app another chance or not to do yoga anymore... Another point to point out, Logically in Yoga, you don't have to repeat the same position in a Row (just for the two sides is logical). That's disappointing...

Very impressed.
As a complete beginner, my first yoga experience has been absolutely fantastic. The different options provide plenty of variety and the instructions help to make sure you're doing the pose correctly and how to maximise it. Great for getting a little bit of peace and head space too. Lastly, and certainly not least, the customer service is second to none (extending my thank you to Sam, at customer service). I dont often write reviews, but I couldn't not for Down Dog. Do yourself a favour and give it a try.
