I recently purchased your paint to paint my 2 year old baby crib.
I recently purchased your paint to refinish a baby crib. I followed all recommended preparation steps, including thoroughly sanding the surface, and then applied the paint using both rollers and brushes. Despite my best efforts, it required 10 to 12 coats to achieve coverage, and even after all that work, the finish looks uneven and unattractive. This is extremely frustrating and not what I expected from a product marketed for quality and safety. I chose ECOS Paints specifically because of your reputation, which is why this experience has been so discouraging.

The stain and varnish are exactly as advertised and are both so easy to work with. I am a hobbyist woodworker that was looking for non-toxic stain and finish solutions and Ecos delivered. I will proudly only use your products to finish my pieces going forward, and have already placed a second order for more stain colors!

waiting on more samples
I've ordered samples after not getting satisfactory answers from customer service. I'm waiting on more samples and will make my decision once we try them. The older reviews say customer service is a nightmare, and I don't want to find myself in the same position. The reviews in 2025 seem fake. Looking at other paints now. I'm so glad for Trust Pilot.

My stain sample arrived on time and well-packaged in a cardboard canister. I didn’t give 5 stars because I was supposed to receive a 20% coupon off a gallon after buy $25+ worth of samples, but alas no coupon was included.

Quick delivery
Very poorly designed website that doesn't work properly
I am a returning customer. I find their website impossible to use and poorly designed. After spending over 15 minutes making my selection, I went to the checkout page. There was no feature to check out as a guest, which is standard. When I got to Payment, there was an expired credit card. I tried 10x to add a new card # and the site would not allow me, unlike Amazon, which has a feature that you can add or delete credit card numbers. The delete feature did not work, and after multiple tries of entering the new card #, it kept showing the original #. Nothing I did could get rid of it. This site wasted my time and now I don't have the paint I needed to get. The FAQ page was of no help, and there was no way to email the company.
