Mediation is the Millenniums course.
Edwards Mediation Academy offers incredible courses that gives its students / participants a room of brainstorming whether you are active or dormant participants.
The way Edwards Mediation Academy’s courses are set, itself pulls the participant’s attention, due to that each time participants are suspicious to know what is next in each course.
Having Edwards Mediation Academy’s Certificate, it’s like moving with ripen fruits or fried meat ready to serve just.
Amongst the courses offered by Edwards Mediation Academy, Counselling is missing in at the early stage to help parties during emotion effect.
Without government’s help, for private participants like me, it is very difficult to upgrade with Edwards Mediation Academy’s courses due to being too expensive.

I had received more skills about the process of mediation,steps and strategies which help me to get on the resolution of conflicts,and that will help to improve my experience on how I guide the parties in mediation.but like recommendations you would give to students notes or slabus to reft with after studies.

The tools (opening sessions different elements, convening, communication skills) and methods (facilitative versus evaluative) were well presented and explained. The Garcia and Golden Acres is the highlight of the course with a video shadowing a whole mediation process. The principles of mediation were laid out in a logical and flowing manner, which helps in note taking to remember immediately and clearly, points to cover well when meditating.
The course is meant to all professionals, not just law school individuals.

I was amazed by Flexible learning arrangement (Face to Face facilitations during Weekends and online session Fridays) which made it easy for me as a someone who has a full time job. This help me to understand well the course, and Facilitators who really understand the local context (Bernadette & Dr. Viva). Much appreciated !
Reflective journals gave me the opportunity to review the knowledge acquired during the training and think how will be applied in my area of expertise
Opportunity to discuss with Suzan and Edward online to ask pertinent question and get answers, as well as have recording to review later after the session.
Area of improvement :
Grateful if in the future the facilitation Sessions could be recorded as well for review. The access to the course is limited after completion, if it can be extended further, and course can be downloaded. If possible mock up practices in real life can be arranged to be well embedded in the mediation industry and gain the real life experience. Mobilize volunteer who are practicing to give presentations during the training
I can't wait to practice what I learn from EMA.

The examples and quotes from the experienced mediators gives the real picture of how the mediation process lookalike.
I would appreciate more if you could allow those who want to visit your center and witness by themselves how you proceed.

The experience was great since i advanced ahead in my career
The experience was great since, after taking all modules in Eduard Mediation Academy with my background area of legal practice in the Ministry of Defence, the course actually transformed the theory into practical mediation skills that made my real act of legal judgment sharper. The academy does a great job with the organized content and clear structures, but it could be improved by far more detailed and realistic case studies, as the major lessons rant instead of the short ones.
