I've been lost for many years and had many roads in my brain so to say. And I feel like I might be finally on the right path to getting them all conjoined to where I can focus and think and I might actually get my I guess life put together because I really feel all spread out right now so I'm super excited for this new path that I have found

I’ve had a truly positive experience…
I’ve had a truly positive experience with Focused Adult ADHD Clinic. From the very first appointment, the team made the entire process feel easy and smooth. Even when I felt overwhelmed and was definitely oversharing, they took me seriously and treated me with nothing but respect.
By my second appointment, I was going through a crisis, and they were incredibly compassionate, accurate, and on point with what I needed. They listened carefully and made sure I felt supported without ever feeling dismissed or disregarded. I’m genuinely grateful for the level of care and professionalism they provide.

Thank You! I have to say, I've battled ADHD my whole life, and when I visited my primary care they had little interest in helping me with this problem... I felt completely defeated and thought no one would take this seriously. I searched and searched Oklahoma for someone to help, and by luck–I found Focused Adult! They were completely thorough, and took every step seriosuly. From testing, to diagnosis, to medication overview and aftercare with messaging following up on my journey. Everyone I have talked with at Focus has been kind, professional, helpful. Office staff have gone above and beyond at informing me of the order of operations here and letting me know common customer questions and answers they have addressed with others before, communication has been just stellar. The medical staff has been actively engaged in my treatment and have informed me of all of their available options for treatment and seem to be committed to my overall well being, not just to make a new customer.

I guess I thought I would receive a medication that would improve my ability to live normally. I realize stimulant medication has a negative public stigma attached to it. I prayed the non stimulant would work and when it had an adverse effect, I was told the stimulant meds would not be prescribed. I do have controllable high blood pressure. I wish I could have been given the opportunity to see if I could control the blood pressure even as a test.
The NP was nice and seemed knowledgeable and helpful. The doctor was also nice but didn't really look me in the eye during the call which made me uncomfortable. Overall a good experience though.

My former doctor retired the month before I moved to Oklahoma and I went unmedicated for over a year. I felt like I was losing my grip on life as an adult. Then there’s the shame and guilt for being an adult who can’t seem to keep it together, so I was slowly creeping into a depression.. I was complaining to my friend about this and she told me about Focused Adult because she went through here. Being neurodivergent makes life interesting, but this place made it easy to get back on track without making me feel criminalized for being medicated. I also like the fact that they’re hip with the technology with the telemedicine and texting and you only need to visit the office once a year. Thank you so much Focused Adult!!!!!
