I love that fontbase is compatible for both windows and mac. The free version is already good enough for professional use by itself but the extra features in the paid version makes it perfect. Theres currently no other high quality offering like this on the market and it helps speed up my workflow so much when it comes to working with type.
I’m very unhappy with the app. I’ve been using it for a long time, and now it doesn’t activate or deactivate the fonts. I’m paying for it, and I’m already looking at another app to migrate to.
A useful font manager for graphic designers and others who need to manage many different sets of fonts. Works like it's supposed to. Not complicated.
Fontbase is excellent for the price. I love seeing and easily selecting my fonts, especially those "hidden" glyphs that I didn't understand until I stumbled on Fontbase. I gave it four stars and decided I will edit and update to 5 stars when the program when the developer adds the function to drag and drop across the application the ability to take my fonts from one folder to the other. But truly I really can't complain. Heck, I'm going to go change it to 5 stars now!! LOL
Overall, I like the app. Much cleaner than Extensis for sure. I do wish the updates were more in line with the Adobe releases. It's frustrating to not have auto-activation plugins that work, but at this price, I shouldn't complain.
Very good, but still a bit buggy here and there. My account expired or something while I already paid my monthly subscription. Also i have to keep changing background color for my font previews, I wish this would be a permanent change. Overall worth it thou. Works well and intuitive.
Great app, always works. I moved over from the app every designer I had (can't remember the name now), which always had issues and then all of a sudden became extremely expensive. Fontbase is a good app. Could do with a few small UX improvements to make things a bit faster and remove the clicks but overall a very good and stable app. The prices is ok.
