Left small business on the hook for $2,602 after admitting account was hit by malware.

I am writing this to warn other small business owners about Found. My business account was recently targeted in a sophisticated cyberattack where hackers used a Remote Access Trojan (RAT) to gain control of my workstation and intercept my communications. The hackers managed to add my debit card to a digital wallet and charge $2,602.00 to a China merchant. I provided Found with a federal FTC Identity Theft Report and technical proof of the hack. In their formal written response, Lead Bank (Found's partner bank) literally admitted that their investigation concluded my account details were "compromised by a Remote Access Trojan (RAT) that intercepted the 2FA code." Despite formally admitting in writing that they know a hacker stole the funds via malware, Found and Lead Bank are refusing to honor Mastercard’s Zero Liability policy. They are using a loophole in their business account terms to blame the victim of a cybercrime and told me to "contact the merchant" to get my money back. Absolutely disgraceful protection for small businesses. Protect your funds and go elsewhere!

I am the unfortunate user of this scam

I am the unfortunate user of this account for my business, and Found is by far the worst platform I’ve ever dealt with. A merchant (Thumbtack) double-charged my card four separate times for a total of $37.74, completely ignoring the fact that I already had a $50 prepaid balance on their platform that they had already eaten up. I literally did the math for Found myself, put together a clear breakdown showing exactly how I was double-billed, and sent it straight to their dispute team. Instead of actually looking at the numbers, Found's "risk team" sent back a lazy, automated one-sentence rejection on dispute VW5EJG-L1XMR saying "no billing error occurred." No explanation, no ledger breakdown, nothing. When I escalated it because their answer made zero sense, a support rep named Derrick (Ref: VWYKZZ-YR4NR) basically told me "we're not moving forward with this at this time" and closed the ticket. They flat out refuse to investigate or do basic accounting. To make it even worse, these clowns actually shared my internal dispute details directly with the merchant, completely violating my privacy. They don't protect small businesses at all. They just take the merchant's side, send canned robot responses, and let people get ripped off. Found is just a garbage software app hiding behind Lead Bank's charter so they don't have to answer to anyone. Keep your business money far away from them.

For my small business, I like that it's a one stop shop for bookkeeping, invoicing, AND banking. Having a mobile app that I can quickly categorize and track everything is huge for me!

This is my first business account as a new business owner, and I like it. I truly enjoyed the tools that it provides for you to be successful in your business financing.
