This was the best experience I’ve ever had with the lawyer, I paid for an expungement and three weeks later my case was expunged from my felony to dismissed. I didn’t have to show up for court and the lawyer took care of EVERYTHING. I would highly recommend and have.
Applying for CCW
Applying for a CCW. Fresh Start Law Center did exactly as they state on their web site. I am 65 years old and had a felony when I was 20 yrs. old that I forgot all about due to moving out of state for 38 years. They had the it dropped to a misdemeanor and erased. I believe it only took around 9 weeks from start to finish. I am now able to apply for a CCW with the state of Calif.

This was my first time ever having to go through the expungement process, and I must say I am extremely pleased with the experience. I saw alot of reviews on this company and alot of the complaints I saw were of people complaining of the documentation they had to provide. I feel you get what you put in and this company is here to help you as much as you let it. That being said, before I even called I had a copy of my disposition ready to go. I took the eligibility test, sent an email and got a response within hours. I personally talked to Mr. Huffman, got a list of things I needed to get ready and got to work. Even living in Texas, the process went by smooth and quick. Mr. Huffman required a few documents I already had ready prior and I was able to get letters of recommendation immediately. Again, some of the complaints I saw were of people expecting this company to do ALL the work completely for them, which I thought was a bit absurd, especially living in these times we're in full of restrictions and delays. My start date was 03 DEC 2020 and I got my record Expunged with paper work in by 05 APR 2021. Not bad for being 3 states over and not once having to go back to California for any reason. Mr. Huffman kept me updated with both emails and their tracking system online. If you are going to go with this company, just remember, YOU are hiring them, and they are only as effective as you let them be. So have all your ducks in a row and be ready to help with some paperwork in order to receive the fastest response times available. Fresh Start was awesome. Very up front and open with how everything is done. Gave me a sense of relief from the beginning. Had a reduction and expungment done. Started the process before the new year so things were slow going based on covid and the holidays but they handle things on there end very fast ad kept me updated. Would definitely recommend fresh start.
