Bought the Europe Package. It only worked 1/2 of the time while in Paris, but worked 100% of the time while in Frankfurt.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
We understand how frustrating it can be to have inconsistent connectivity while traveling, especially when you depend on your eSIM throughout an entire trip. It’s interesting to see that the Europe Package worked perfectly in Frankfurt but was intermittent during your time in Paris, as this can sometimes be related to local network conditions, congestion, or roaming partner behavior in specific areas.
Based on feedback from travelers like you, we’ve continued improving network optimization and monitoring in several European destinations to create a more stable experience overall. These reports genuinely help us identify where additional improvements are needed.
I’d really appreciate the opportunity to personally review your case in more detail and better understand what happened during your stay in Paris. Please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected], and I’ll personally assist you from there.
Thank you again for your honest feedback and for giving us the opportunity to improve 🌍💙
Global YO worked well but signal in Mexico not very good
In general, Global YO’s service was good. My challenge has been the local network (Telcel). Before purchasing services from Global YO I purchased 2 plans (one for myself and one for my wife). 5g tourist eSIM directly from Telcel. After spending a day trying to get it working, I purchased the Global YO plan. I believe it has something to do with the type of signal (5G, 4G, LTE, 3G) and the ‘auto provision of the APN’.
But global YO has worked. Not consistently but I believe that is more likely due to the flakey signal in this part of Mexico. Which is shocking for 2026.

Hi Jae,
First of all, thank you for such a detailed and thoughtful review — this kind of context is incredibly valuable.
You’re absolutely right that signal type (5G/4G/LTE) and APN auto-provisioning can impact performance, especially in regions where local infrastructure varies. In some areas of Mexico, network stability can fluctuate depending on congestion and tower density, which sometimes creates the “inconsistent” feeling you described.
I truly appreciate you recognizing that the broader signal environment may have played a role. We’ve recently improved our network routing configurations to enhance stability in regions like this.
If you’re ever back in Mexico or traveling elsewhere, feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected]
— I’d love to personally ensure your setup is optimized from the start.
Thank you again for giving us a fair and balanced review 🌎
Warm regards,
Ricardo
I have been using Global Yo’s eSIM cards for several years now, as I travel frequently and this allows me to stay in easy contact with my loved ones back home. I find the price–performance ratio to be very good, and I have always been satisfied with the service.
There is, however, one small drawback when it comes to installation: you always need a second phone to scan the QR code. While traveling, that’s not always practical or even possible. I would love to see a more convenient alternative installation method that makes the process even more user-friendly.

🌍💙 Hello Anonym, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us!
Reading that you’ve trusted Global YO for years — and that our eSIMs help you stay connected with your loved ones during your travels — truly means a lot to us. As a team, we work hard to offer a fair price–performance balance, so knowing that this has consistently worked for you fills us with joy ✨.
That said, I deeply appreciate you highlighting the challenge with the QR-code installation. You’re absolutely right — having to rely on a second device isn’t always practical when you’re on the move. We’ve received similar feedback from other frequent travelers, and because of that, we’ve already been working on new installation alternatives designed to make activation even easier and more intuitive.
Your comment reinforces exactly why these improvements matter. Feedback like yours has a direct impact on our product decisions — and we genuinely value that.
If you ever want to share more ideas or walk me through the situations where installation felt most complicated, I’ll be more than happy to personally assist. You can reach me directly at [email protected]
— I’m always here to listen and help.
Thank you again for being part of the Global YO community and for helping us grow and improve. Wishing you many smooth trips and even smoother connections ahead ✈️💛
