I reached out to chatgpt after being denied a personal loan to consolidate financial debt by my credit union Patelco. While my credit score was not in the 700’s and my credit card usage was also high, my score for paying bills on time was 100%. I thought their underwriters would be more accepting because of my longtime membership.
Well no such luck. Chatgpt suggested Happy Money based on my info I provided and Happy Money approved me in less than 15min. I was approved for exactly what I asked for and the interest rate is very manageable.
Happy Money took a chance on me without even knowing me and they have made it so I can pay off 95% of my financial debt, and put myself in a better position to eventually get another car with a great interest rate and do better using credit cards now that I understand the game much better.
I was thinking about using them again to purchase a new used car, since my own credit union originally denied me. Even though my credit score will go up significantly and my CCU will drop significantly, why take a chance on them again when Happy Money came through for me. I would absolutely recommend them for debt consolidation before I would consider any other company. Thank yall for putting your faith in me in the right places.

Everything was so smooth and completed in two days. Funds were transferred within days of signing. My thanks to the Happy Money staff and the First Tech Federal Credit Union for providing me with the funds to consolidate my debt into one loan. It now allows me an opportunity to get back to saving money instead of living on a check-to-check lifestyle.

This loan has helped me pay off most of all my cards
This loan has helped me pay off all my cards and make only 1 payment a month instead of 8 payments and with a lower interest then my cards. Now I can use the extra money to pay towards the few tht I wasn’t ably to pay completely off.

This company was a God send to me. Nobody would work with me because my car wasn't worth very much for collateral. They gave me a good offer ,I took it and got funded to my bank account in a couple of days. What a relief to pay off three big credit cards,and my monthly payment is less than what I was paying the credit cards with the interest eating away at any payments I made. If I didn’t need the money, I never would’ve worked with these folks.
Considering this loan was backed by $100,000 in home equity, the interest rate was too high. In approximately 90 days, I’m going to try and refinance through a reputable credit union. You cannot pay down your principal any extra money paid outside of your auto pay option is applied to a monthly payment.
So they get their interest, either way.
If you have at least a 680 on your FICO 8 score, go to Credit Union first.
Ask if they can do soft credit polls before you agree to anything to get an idea what your interest rate will be.
Customer service will tell you you cannot make additional principal payments outside of your normal payment portal.

Don’t trust happy money. They say one thing and do a complete different thing. I got approved one minute with them then the next I was denied, even though all my documents were given and explained to a person on the telephone. I would have been fine to be denied the first time but to tell me I was approved one minute then change it is crazy. Im currently waiting to see if they try to take money out of my bank account because once I got approved I gave them all my bank information. Apply at your own risk.
Happy Money made applying for a consolidation loan very easy, I received the money quickly and being able to pay off credit cards feels great!
