Massive score increase in just a few weeks - Hyguru method is gold!

Dr. Damania's help in my Step 2 prep was a lifesaver! By adopting the Hyguru method, I was able to break an incredibly frustrating plateau that I was stuck at for months AND increase my score by nearly 20 points all in just the final few weeks of my prep. His ability to help me shift my overall approach, thought process, and mindset when it came to answering Step 2 questions was extremely remarkable. After that, approaching these questions became very intentional and I saw my score jump. Pairing this with his Step 2 course that integrates concepts and demonstrates the Hyguru approach to questions in real time made all the difference!

Happy I randomly found out and rapidly enrolled.

I have been following Dr. Hyguru on instagram for long and randomly seen yesterday the announcement of this free webinar, enrolled right away, first bc his content on IG is very good, updated and well explained, and I thought, if the webinar is at least half as good is worth to watch. The review was great, high yield content, good narrative rhythm, well explained and with a systemic approach, also is a good way to end your study day mainly bc I love lectures/ take classes and with reviews like this I could even binge watch. Thanks!

Dr.Rahul

Dr. Rahul has great teaching skills. His seminars are well integrated and fast-paced, which keeps you actively thinking, but more importantly, his approach teaches you to “think like the test maker.” The HyGuru course has completely changed the way I approach vignettes and clinical reasoning. One notable thing I want to add is how inclusive the course is. It considers the challenges IMGs may face and helps bring us up to speed with the US system so that no one feels left behind. This is by far one of the best study resources you will find out there. Thank you, Dr. Rahul, for all that you do!

The best of the best

The best of the best. As an IMG with very limited time for dedicated studying, this was highly recommended to me and it truly delivered. Huge improvement.

Find your confidence

Dr. Damania always presents things in a way that is not only easy to remember, but practical for USMLE and shelf exams. I find myself referencing his videos in my mind when I’m taking practice tests, and I utilize his way of approaching each question. As someone who used to really struggle with tests, I give Hyguru courses and webinars lots of credit in helping me find my confidence to tackle board exams.

A very on point lecture

A very on point lecture. Didn’t waste time talking about other things, qbanks, resources or about marketing other products. A brief intro and then the entire lecture was very focused, to the point and high yield. The only thing difficult for me and my colleagues was the time of the lecture as it was at 3:30am (PKT). Good high yield topics discussed. Always hungry for more lectures like this one. Thank you Dr Rahul for your time and effort

Excellent Step 2 Experience

I worked with Rahul during Step 1 and Step 2 and he was a lifesaver. He understands USMLE logic and gets into the minds of the tentmakers to not only help with content but also test-taking tips and psychology. I highly recommend him to any medical students including US MDs and DOs!!!

Cannot recommend enough!!

The sheer level of integration in this content is fantastic. Many resources make concepts feel as though they exist in "isolation," however the way that principles are tied across multiple organ systems/pathologies creates a much more cohesive mental map!! Cannot recommend this enough!!!

HyGuru was incredibly helpful for my exam preparation. The content was high-yield, organized, and well integrated, which made studying much more efficient. Complex topics were broken down clearly, and the explanations helped me build confidence in weaker areas. I especially appreciated how focused the material was on what is actually tested, without wasting time on unnecessary details. Overall, HiGuru made a big difference in my preparation, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone studying for board-style exams.

HyGuru’s Step 1 and Step 2 CK Course Reviews

I’ve used HyGuru’s Step 1 and Step 2 CK courses throughout my medical school experience thus far, and they’ve truly been some of the most valuable resources in my exam preparation. What stood out to me most was the focus on clinical reasoning and test-taking strategy, rather than just memorization. The way concepts are taught: emphasizing patterns, pertinent negatives, and building a differential, completely changed how I approach questions. This course helped me think through problems in a more organized and clinically meaningful way, rather than getting lost in small details. Over time, that shift made a noticeable difference in both my confidence and performance. I’m really grateful for the thought and effort that went into creating these materials, and I would highly recommend this course to anyone preparing for Step 1 or Step 2 CK, especially if you’re looking to strengthen how you think through questions, not just what you know.

HYGuru USMLE Step 1 Youtube Videos

I have gone through most of Dr Damania's (HYGuru) USMLE Step 1 videos system wise on his youtube channel and found them to be a helpful resource in interconnecting across different systems. They allowed me to have a holistic understanding of any given topic which boosted my test scores considerably in the final days nearing my Step 1 Exam!

Highly recommend Hyguru

Rahul was an ESSENTIAL part of me passing Step 1! I started with a 41 and 1% chance to pass on my first NBME and jumped to high 70s and mid 80s with 99% chance of passing 6 weeks later. I used the Hyguru P/F course and met with Rahul for 1 on 1 tutoring. He truly cares about each student’s success and will personalize and tailor a study plan that works best for you. Working with him was truly a great experience!

Game-Changer for CCSE & Step 2 Prep

HyGuru really helped me connect the dots in my knowledge and, more importantly, improved how I approach questions. While preparing for CCSE and Step 2 CK, I saw a significant jump in my CCSE score after using his videos. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who feels stuck or wants to level up their test-taking skills.

Improved studying efficiency :)

I had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Dr. Damania, where he walked me through several different techniques to help optimize my studying. Based on his suggestions, I started implementing a few changes that have made a huge difference in how I approach Step prep. One of the most impactful things has been using the UWorld incorrect template in Notion to guide my review of question blocks. It helped me slow down and really distill what I needed to learn from each question instead of just reading the explanation and moving on. Having a structured way to review mistakes has made my question blocks much more productive and helped me focus on the key takeaways. Another change was switching to a structured daily schedule instead of doing Pomodoro sessions back-to-back until I was exhausted. Even if I don’t check off every single item on my schedule each day, having a plan has significantly reduced the time I used to spend deciding what to do next. It also helps me stay focused during each block and makes it easier to see what I’ve accomplished instead of jumping between resources without a clear plan. Overall, these strategies have made my studying feel much more organized, efficient, and intentional.
