They have your back

When I needed a small business loan, it was incredibly difficult to get anyone to take me seriously or even respond. As a female- and veteran-owned business, I often felt overlooked. I was expanding my office and needed funds for the buildout — but the few offers I received were for loan amounts that were way too small to actually help. That’s when I found IDEA Financial. They were absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. They took the time to listen, guided me through every step of the process, and got me funded in about a week. Thanks to them, I was able to complete my buildout and move into my new office on time. Honestly, I don't know what I would have done without them. Today, I still have a line of credit with IDEA Financial (although I’ve paid off my initial loan), and I’m so grateful for the relationship we’ve built. It's a huge relief knowing that if I ever need support again, they’ll be there to help. Highly recommend!

The funding process with quick and easy.

I had a great experience working with Ken at Idea Financial who helped me with every step of the process. Excellent availability as I never had to wait on the phone and he never left the call until I was done. So glad I switched to this lender as my previous one was not as communicative or supportive.

Failed to come through on line of credit when needed

This company approved us for a line of credit. We took a small draw and paid it timely every time. We received constant offers to draw more and we are in California so when the wildfires hit near us they made offers to assist. We had a couple of customers who were impacted by the wildfires and did not want to press them for immediate payment so we made a further draw. They then subjected us to new underwriting (with no prior notice) and then declined the draw saying that we could not take more money until the business "stabilized" -- there was nothing to stabilize the business was not materially impacted just a slight cash flow issue that was going to mitigated in a couple of weeks. What good is a line of credit when the lender won't fund it when you actually need it? Had we had any idea this company would bail on us we could have simply pressed the customers for payment (despite the wildfire impacts) but we had no reason to think we needed to. We have large receivables, no risk, no default ever, no other debt. Just a completely unjustifiable failure to fund under the line of credit they offered. Worst lending experience ever and would never do business with them again.

Use Idea if you want to be yelled at and belittled...

I have been a client multiple times now and was just treated worse than a Hardees worker. I have a text and a recorded call of Al Beutel threatening me and raising his voice saying he only reports to the CEO and he can do whatever he wants. I Tried to reach HR and got sent back to Al....RUN! Don't say I didn't warn you
