Extremely useful for anyone managing supply chain, sourcing suppliers, or doing light market analysis.
Extremely useful data for finding new suppliers and keeping tabs on your competition’s suppliers and shipments. I have found import yeti to be more straightforward and useable than other import tracking sites, and it is my go to when looking for this type of data. My only criticism is that sometimes the data it is using is not always great and I would love to see a feature where it tries to match similar names/addresses/etc that are obviously the same company but the data has been typoed/misspelled by customs or the customs filer.

Thank for this amazingly insightful review, Robert! I appreciate you bringing this forward. We're working on improving the related names/addresses and it should go live soon.

You need Import Yeti as a resource!
This service is amazing when searching for global sources! I have found resources that would have either taken me forever to find or cost a ridiculous amount of money for a subscription to source. So easy to use! The service is awesome for small businesses! I can’t say anything negative at all. You can’t go wrong using Import Yeti as a resource for your business!

An indispensable resource
Information is incredibly organized, cross-searching is fantastic, you can jump from an importer to an OEM to follow a supply chain as deeply as you want. Has helped me do research into supply chain resilience so I can confidently move forward with placing an order from distributors. Import Yeti is an indispensable resource

Best Tool for New Business Owners
Thanks to the hard work of the founder (Dave Applegate), I was able to start my new business with confidence. Stationery is a tough world as many of the most popular name brands (not store brands) are run by small businesses. This site allowed me to find my competitors' sources and learn about the industry standards. I am new to Alibaba so I was scared of selecting a factory that would provide poor service. ImportYeti made it easy for me to find the best places to go based on my real world experiences. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because not every company I looked for could be found even when searched by the official company name found in their policies. This platform still has room to grow and may eventually have every company you can think of.
These are small businesses and it may be difficult to find import information, however here is a small list of companies I tried to find data for: Archer and Olive, LLC, me & my BIG ideas, Inc. (The Happy Planner company), AmandaRachLee Productions Incorporated, milkteanco, and Maisie Lane Co.

Great Free Import Research Tool
I use this tool to do research for finding when new products come to market for product categories I am interested in. It helps me to know when to follow up with retailers after analyzing shipping patterns vs when products typically end up on shelfs.

User friendly tool, designed with the end user in mind
I have been using this tool for a bit shy of a year now, and I found it to be very useful for looking up import records to the US. There are other paid tools in the market, that have been around longer, but they're extremely costly and not always user friendly. I found the data to be relatively recent in the database, and accurate, when comparing to other competitor tools that I happen to have access to. I would highly recommend others to use this first and see if it meets their needs before exploring much costlier options out there from legacy providers. Quite often you'll find that this tool will satisfy your requirements, saving you hundreds of dollars per month. Looking forward to the improvements in the coming year.
