It's been my dream for some time to transition to full time coaching/consulting. It is my absolute belief that EVERYONE needs a coach. While John Maxwell's reputation is indisputable, I confess having some reservations and skepticism. Not only was the conference extremely well run, just truly amazing accommodating over 3000 people - each of the presenters were world class. We now have a clear vision and plan for making our dream a reality. Sunday evening, my wife and I debated the decision to join mentorship. We didn't have a problem with the cost or value. Was it going to be too overwhelming? Was the timing right? Should we wait? Or is now the time? We decided to go all-in on Monday, make the investment now and start putting the time in.

I had my 1st (and only) child at 36 and when he was old enough to have play dates, go to preschool, etc, all the other moms were 22-25 years old...so I was always around younger people. I have identified myself as a mom of a 3 year old or 1st grader and never the over 40 mom that I was. Now at almost 64, I have very few friends my own age...some of my dearest friends haven't even hit 40 yet...my point, you are spot on - I still feel 25 even when my body doesn't want to cooperate...lol
