Regarding the compression, it is completely normal to feel a slight sensation of discomfort during the first few uses this is actually a sign that the legging is working! This sensation generally disappears very quickly as you yourself noticed after a few minutes standing up. 😊 As for the fit around the hips and waistband, did you choose the size recommended by our size guide? Since every body shape is unique it is possible that a different size could provide you with better comfort and support.
