Even though I am taking the course…

Even though I am taking the course solo, the exercises are adapted for this scenario. As I invite my husband to help me with the homework/exercises, I see our connection gently increasing. This is very encouraging because I am able to independently influence the quality of my relationship.

Hi Joy, It’s encouraging to hear that even doing the course solo is creating more warmth and connection between you and your husband. I’m glad you’re discovering how much influence one person can have on the tone of a relationship, and thank you for sharing this. -Bruce

Excellent at any age!

We are 76 and 77 and together for 7 years. Both of us had several unsuccessful relationships in the past and we were headed for another one. Still arguing, not speaking, rolling eyes , not dealing effectively with conflict etc. This program is so comprehensive and life changing. We are halfway through and already have seen a massive shift in our behaviours and conflicts resolution. We cannot recommend it enough! A relationship and life changer no matter what age you are.

Hi Jo-Anne After a lifetime of relationships and hard-earned experience, it says a lot that you both stayed open enough to learn a new way of handling conflict together. I’m glad you’re already seeing such a meaningful change halfway through, and thank you for sharing this. -Bruce

If you're looking for a tangible

If you're looking for a tangible, step by step approach to changing your relationship this course will help. It does take a significant amount of time per week (2+ hours) and will challenge you to be vulnerable and open. My husband I had been disconnected for well over 2 years and our dynamic started changing within the first week. The real work will be making sure we continue to practice what we have learned.

Reply from Love At First Fight2026-05-28

Hi Kelly, You’re right that this work takes time, vulnerability, and consistency, but that’s also why the changes can be so meaningful. I’m glad you and your husband started feeling the change so quickly after being disconnected for so long, and thank you for sharing this. -Bruce

The Conflict Cure is a real game changer!

My spouse and I started the Conflict Cure program about five weeks ago, and I truly believe it came into our lives at the exact moment we needed it most. Before starting, we were struggling deeply and felt stuck in unhealthy patterns that made us both feel unheard, hurt, and exhausted. The beginning was hard because it forced us to be honest about our feelings and really face the issues we had been avoiding. But as we continued through the exercises and workbook, something started to change. The conversations became deeper, healthier, and more meaningful than anything we had experienced before. For the first time in a long time, we learned how to work through conflict without feeling like our marriage was falling apart. We learned how to truly listen to each other, communicate with compassion, and express our feelings in a way the other person could actually understand. Learning our love languages was powerful, but discovering our apology languages was honestly life-changing for us. This program gave us hope when we felt like we were losing it. It helped us reconnect, rebuild trust, and remember why we chose each other in the first place. I am incredibly grateful for what this program has done for our marriage, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple who wants to heal, grow, and fight for their relationship.

Hi Chevette, Wow, what a transformation. Those kinds of shifts take honesty, hard work, and a willingness to keep showing up for each other even when it’s uncomfortable. I’m glad you two found new ways to communicate, reconnect, and rebuild trust together. Well done, and thank you for your kind words. - Bruce

Good for introspection

I've learned a lot about relationships. This is a good course if you want to dive into your own relationship habits and you are ready to look into mirror. I've noticed that it's easier for me to react fights after taking this course. When I want to talk about some difficult issue, I try to use the tips I've had from the course. It helps a lot. Unfortunately my partner doesn't feel the same way with this course and I think we are going to be soon ex-partners to each other, but I hope and I know this course will help me in the future.

Hi Johanna, It sounds like you’ve done some honest self-reflection and started changing the way you handle difficult conversations, even in the middle of a painful situation. That takes courage. Thank you for sharing your experience. - Bruce

My husband understands that I take the course for us

Even if my husband is not taking the course, he understands that I am doing this to invest in a better life for us. He responds positively (kind words and warm hugs) to my attempts to be more attentive towards him (see him, listen, give praise).

Reply from Love At First Fight2026-05-14

Hi Kristin, Sometimes, one person changing the dance changes the whole relationship, and it sounds like your husband is already responding to the warmth and attention you’re bringing into the marriage. I’m glad you’re seeing those changes even while doing the course on your own, and thank you for sharing this. -Bruce

Best course I've ever taken

My husband and I are only 1/2 way through the course and its already helping so much. We are both understanding ourselves and each other better, and learning to communicate in ways we both feel heard, seen, validated, and empathized with. I can't wait to see how this changes our relationship by the end!

Eye-Opening and Transformational Relationship Course

I recently completed the Conflict Cure course by Bruce Muzik from Love at First Fight, and I honestly found it incredibly eye-opening. Bruce has a very unique and mind-blowing way of explaining relationships, attachment styles, and the deeper reasons behind conflict in couples. What I appreciated most is that the course is not just theoretical — it really helps you understand yourself and your partner on a much deeper level. Many of the concepts made me look at relationships and communication in a completely different way. The course is engaging, practical, and full of insights that immediately make you reflect on your own behavior and patterns. If you want to better understand conflict, emotional connection, and how to create a healthier relationship, I highly recommend this course. Bruce is clearly passionate about helping couples, and it shows throughout the entire program.

I recommend this program

I recommend this program, even if your spouse isn't currently trying anymore and thinks the relationship problems are your fault, even if your loved one has checked out and given up. I especially love the useful information about stopping the blame, attachment styles, and the drama triangle. The course is full of life-changing skills and opportunities to reflect and practice. Big changes are happening here as I implement these new practices! He hasn't done the course (yet), but this week, he noticed that I haven't been defending myself. Stepping out of that drama triangle and on to newer, better ways of living. He asked what will we do with all our free time that we used to spend fighting? 😉

Reply from Love At First Fight2026-05-07

Hi Shelly It’s powerful that you kept working on yourself even when things felt one-sided, because that’s often where the relationship starts to change. I’m glad the tools around blame and the drama triangle are helping you step out of old patterns, and your husband’s question made me smile. Thank you for sharing this. -Bruce

There is no right or wrong

The realization that there is no right or wrong in a conflict but only a misunderstanding has been so powerful. I no longer get defensive but relax and try to find out where each one of us is experiencing. Thank you

What a wonderful course

What a wonderful course. It's in depth and transformative. My partner and I were about to call it quits, and Bruce's promotional video popped up on my FB feed (along with half a dozen other relationship help programmes). I thought it's just another marketing gimmick but boy was i wrong, and I'm glad I watched the introductory video. The free 90 minutes video transformed me and my partner's life, and we wouldn't be here together 8 weeks later writing this review if not for the conflict cure program. Bruce singe handedly brought our connection back first, and allowed us to communicate with the tools in the program. This complemented our in person couple's counselling. So if you are thinking whether or not this is worth the money, let me tell you - this course is worth ten times of what is charged. The content is first grade, comprehensive and simply mind blowing. Thank you Bruce.

Hi William I’m glad you gave it a shot despite the skepticism and stuck with it long enough to see the change in your connection. It’s good to hear you found your way back to each other and are using the tools alongside counseling. Thank you for sharing this. -Bruce

We have a wonderful marriage, I was the issue

We have a wonderful marriage. No drama, no betrayal, it was me. Triggered by hurts long since gone. I knew it was me. I would get so angry, it was like a wave that I couldn’t control. It turns out I can now identify where it came from and, more importantly, know with no uncertainty that (Fred) would never intentionally hurt me. Good to realize and real in hurt that he didn’t cause. Many Thanks "

Trust This, it Works!

Bruce, I'm 72, a retired educator, mom of three daughters and a grandmother, married/divorced twice. My early life was filled with conflict, my adult life very similar. I have seen 17 therapists over the course of my life, many only once (bad fit), trying to find answers. Went through Marriage Encounter. Worked for years with a spiritual director. Read a ton of self-help books. I put a lot of effort into my own personal growth to the point of being very capable of making my own happiness. In 2014 I married for the third time, the love of my life. We met at 14, went our separate ways because we were forced apart by my mother. Think "The Notebook" with a different ending. Being with him again was a dream come true. He lost his wife suddenly two years before we met again late in life, and his grown daughters resolved to punish us, and me in particular. Our conflicts began the moment we met again and have recently accelerated to the point of us both believing this is just too much. I saw you speak about the Conflict Cure on Facebook. I've grown very skeptical that any counseling could help, and my husband is adamant against it. Your straightforward, honest, heartfelt demeanor got my attention and gained just enough of my trust to try again. I signed up thinking that maybe I could learn something new, especially when I heard you say that it could make a difference if I did this alone. I haven't even scratched the surface in terms of the exercises you recommend, but I feel as if something in me has shifted. Here's what has helped me so far (and I'm still two classes away from finishing the course), and I have to preface this by saying that I thought I'd learned all this already, but evidently I'm hearing it again for the first time! * The schooling about how our minds work, especially about human nature's defensive mode when confronted. * The reminder that we are caught in the history of our unmet childhood needs. * The tools of what you refer to as "softening" towards my husband, little things that are so easy to do. That has been a game-changer. I didn't realize how much my cynicism and bitterness about our fights translated into my language with him and my actions towards him. The past several weeks I actually like myself better! I've become more compassionate and willing to give. He doesn't even realize that I'm taking this class, but his behavior towards me has changed too. That makes complete sense, but life has beat me up so much I stopped believing things could improve. My daughters, who have been witness to my journey, are surprised and happy that I have found something to address our conflict. My newfound happiness is now having a domino effect on the entire family, dare I say, even my stepdaughters. Thank you, Bruce. You are one of a kind, in your teaching style, your compassion, your understanding of human nature and relationships. Take it from someone who has tried for decades to figure this out! I highly recommend your class to anyone at any stage of life/relationship!

This is one of the best courses I’ve ever taken. It’s not just a relationship course, but above all a course designed to help you gain insight into your own emotions and your own coping mechanisms in stressful situations, so that you first learn to understand yourself better and can then view your relationship from that perspective. It’s based on solid principles, not just “quick fixes” to save a relationship.

After 40+ years, old dogs learn new tricks!

My husband and I have been married for over 40 years. For reasons too long to get into here, we have established some really bad patterns and had basically resigned ourselves to the constant bickering, fighting and feeling alone. The love was there but the skills to navigate being in a relationship were not. We have been to a myriad of therapists and read numerous books but continued to feel more miserable than happy together. And then we discovered Bruce and his program, The Conflict Cure. Though we’re only maybe a quarter of the way through, we have already felt HUGE changes in our relationship. We are feeling connected again. We are feeling hopeful again. We both really believe that by applying the techniques in this workshop that our remaining years together will be filled with much more happiness than misery. Hey, nothing‘s perfect, right? Thank you, Bruce.
