I bought the software, downloaded and it did not work the first time. I contacted Wondershare technical support and I received a new link to download a new version, which worked perfectly! It was a little bit stressful during the first time because after installing my WhatsApp several times in the iPhone and also in the Android, I had to wait for 24 hours to receive a new code form WhatsApp. At the end, I got my messages transfer and I now have my WhatsApp in my new IPhone! Thanks!!!

Mobile Trans doesn't work
Have just ordered, paid for and registered a copy of Wondershare Mobile Trans. It does not recognise my iphone SE so cannot do any transfers. The chatline does not cover Mobile trans so no use at all. The guidance notes simply send me round in circles without helping me solve the problem. I feel I have been scammed! My advice is avoid this software.

Worked well to transfer, but process installs a mobile app that collects location which is unnecessary and unacceptable.
Had been a 5 star review, now 1 star. This app transferred my WhatsApp data from Android to iPhone. Not easily done, but this Mac app worked well to work around the tech challenge. I was aware an app had been installed on the Android phone to facilitate getting data onto my laptop - seemed reasonable considering the complexity of conversion. The next day though Android notified me to say this app Mobile Go was collecting location data in the background. It didn't need to do that to move WhatsApp data between 2 phones connected to a laptop over cables. Suspect this collected data has additional resale value for Wondershare. Really poor if this is the case as I had paid for this Mac app in good faith. So they have revenue. Deleted the mobile app immediately.

It worked, but it was sketchy as heck
Ok, so it works, you have to pay money if you actually want it to transfer though, so keep that in mind, but it also felt like a trading my soul to the devil sort of deal, it installed some junky stuff to my android device, and was doing some wack stuff to it, very sketchy and didn't make me feel warm and fuzzy inside, same with the computer app, just a bit sketchy, it did what I needed it to do though, had to pay and didn't really want to but it saved all my stuff so that's what I wanted, so, as long as you comb through your stuff and clean it out after using it it should be good, but I really don't appreciate the random stuff it installed without my consent

it did the work but then it tells me at the end that the Watsapp version that I am having know isn't official and I have to back up and delete it then download it again from the goole play and another long process. I paid to finish the work provisionally, not like this.

It tried to install something called MobileGo Driver Installer. If I said yes, MobileTrans didn't work, but when I said no it transferred everything seamlessly. Very good customer service too. Thank you!

DOES NOT WORK!!!!!
I used the free trial to make a backup of my whatsapp on iPhone, which is technically possible according to Wondershare. After that I bought the full version so that I can also use the other functions. However, my paid version can not find the backup that I made in the free trial. In the meanwhile I deleted WhatsApp since I already had a backup I thought! Now I don’t even know how to retrieve the backup that is supposedly made out of the trial version and the full version can not find it either. This is very strange. Second problem; I then tried just to backup everything else I have from my old phone via the full version but it seems it can not find any data. This is very strange because the phone still has pictures, sms, notes, calendar, contacts etc. So, it looks like I paid for nothing!!!

At some point the app stops working and asks for 30$. This should have been said in instructions.

Worked a treat - would recommend
Worked! Backed up my WhatsApp from my Android phone to my computer and then restored it to my new iPhone (didn't have a phone-phone cable to transfer the messages straight from one phone to the other). Step by step instructions really clear, software was reliable and the whole process was pretty quick. Only gave 4* because it's expensive!!
