I'm a repeat traveler with NatHab (nine completed trips and three upcoming). I'm always looking at what different travel companies have to offer, talking with other travelers, comparing notes. But I consistently return to NatHab. Why? To begin with, I value the company's conservation philosophy. I like where NatHab goes, the destinations. I appreciate that it's adventure tourism with comfort. I like that group size is always very small, I don't feel lost in a mob of people. I appreciate that if I travel with NatHab everything is taken care of. I don't worry about anything. There is an excellent home office staff, adventure specialists, concierges and people to book flights. Even support in the gear store has been first rate. I've found that the naturalists and tour guides are universally excellent. Each trip is both exciting and a learning experience. The support in the country of destination is also top notch. Finally, I'm a female solo traveler, so safety is important to me. While NatHab goes to many exotic locations, I have always felt safe. A downside to solo travel is that the single supplement can be costly. Some travel companies try to encourage solo travel by discounting single supplements. It would be nice if NatHab would do this. Finally, in summary, Natural Habitat is by far the best company I've come across for Adventure Tourism.
Natural Habitat Adventure is awesome. Not only are the trips great, the guides, accommodations, services (meet you at airport, accommodate food allergies and preferences, book international flights if requested, have a concierge service to answer questions) are great as well. And the people are genuinely nice. We always travel with them. Highly recommend them.

Natural Habitat Adventures is the best
Natural Habitat Adventures is the best, with amazing, knowledgeable expert local guides. I learned so much about the history, culture and, of course, the animals of Madagascar. And the lemurs couldn't be better ambassadors for conservation and sustainable tourism. What an experience!
Our early June trip to the Alaska Bear Camp was exceptional. Typical of all NatHab trips, we were a small group - just 13. Our guide, Laura, was very knowledgeable and was attuned to how we were feeling and enjoying the experience.
Brown bears were coming out of hibernation and the males and single females frequented the coast eating lots of grass and eating clams until the beginning of the salmon run.
Laura knew all of the places that the bears frequented so if we didn't see bears in about 15 minutes we moved on to the next location. We saw lots of bears and it was wonderful!
We only travel with NatHab because their focus is on the animals and habitat and not on cities. We have never been disappointed in the wildlife experiences and the guides are always great. AND the group sizes are small. Fantastic all around!
I recently went to Bear Camp with Natural Habitat Adventures and it was absolutely amazing! There isn’t one thing I can say that’s negative about the experience. The accommodations were perfect, so comfy! The food was delicious, every meal! The staff was so knowledgeable and they all took such great care of us! And then, there were the bears…such beautiful, wonderful, interesting creatures! I learned so much about them. Truly a trip of a lifetime! Thank you Nat Hab! I definitely will travel with you again!

We wanted to see bears
We wanted to see bears, and your team delivered. It was everything you advertised, and the staff was amazing.
The travel was fairly well organized and the guides were adequate. We loved the first several days of the trip which were mostly on river but the Gormantong Caves and the Danum Valley were very disappointing to us. We spent 3 days in the Danum Valley, but took very few photos during that time and it was a photography trip so that was very disappointing. We had some beautiful photos from the first 7 or 8 days and were led to believe that the Danum Valley would be even better. The only animals we were even remotely close to there were a leopard cat(which I understand is rare) and the monkeys which were on our roof. Since the travel to that area was grueling, that made it very frustrating to have only 1 or 2 photographs for 3 whole days. That said, the lodge there was a wonderful place to stay and the food was delicious, probably the nicest place that we stayed. However, I would not recommend this trip to a friend.

Accommodations and meals could have been improved upon, mostly meals. However we understand the limitations of being in a national park. Mammoth Inn would have been much better, (In parks, choose hotels that
are used by Tauck.)

Nat Hab’s delivery of service is at a consistent Concierge level from the home office provision of trip pricing, schedule and travel information through the Expedition Guide’s delivery and implementation during actual trip.
Staff were amazing, schedule was perfect for our adventure, the boat was perfect, the activities were plentiful and balanced, our guides were superb in every way, especially Vero, the food and chef was delicious and the bar tender and chef were extremely conscientious. Perfect!! I would recommend Nat Hap to everyone!!!
