The experience with Novamar getting my new boat purchase insured (as a new boat owner) was smooth and easy. They quickly and patiently answered all my newby questions. I actually chose to pay a little more than another route as the support I got (and will get in the future) was so superior.
Rob Lindley and Novamar are the best marine insurance brokers. I used them for my 50' sailboat which I sailed internationally and for commercial policies on my boats in the US. Rob is an expert who clearly explains the nuances of policies and provides great advice based on his many years in the business. Erika and the back office are efficient and responsive.
Peter Ricks made our boat insurance shopping effortless. He provided several options and we were able to choose the plan that worked best for us. Peter took care of all the other work and made the whole process very easy. I highly recommend Novamar Insurance Group and Peter Ricks in the Seattle office.
This is my first time dealing with this agency and I’ve been a boat owner for over 35 years. This group gave amazing results. Much much better service and response and definitely better rates than anybody else by a wide margin. I will definitely return to them for other insurance needs.
