UDP 203 Upgrade
I have just recently completed the upgrade of the OPPO UDP-203 using the USB TTL serial interface dongle. For the most part, everything went well, but I had discovered during troubleshooting that I was not getting a reliable ground connection between the OPPO player and TTL interface. Based on my experience, I achieved better results by using two 2 to 2.54mm pitch ribbon cables that have a dual female header connector on one end branching out to two single leads with single female connectors on each. As the OPPO player has a 4 pin male header, the two dual female connectors fit securely on the header. As you only require 3 leads for the upgrade, you just leave the extra lead hanging loose.
Works as expected.
Works as expected. Be aware that Iso files can only Be read via a NAS with SMBv1, not above.

The install instructions were very well explained and I am delighted with the extra functions I am now able to use. Thank you. Buy with confidence.
Oppo 205
Oppo 205, I had the latest stock firmware, and put the jailbreak firmware via USB, didn't even need to take it apart and plug into the main PCB. So far everthing I've thrown at it is working. No Cineavia!
