Extremely friendly community of like minded people. Easy to navigate web pages and Facebook pages. Comprehensive service for extremely reasonable fees. Easy to access both moderators and help pages for advice. Great to have “ buddy mentors” who can help navigation for newbie members. Great way to make new friends, including people who are will to help and meet you even if not swapping with them.
We have been exchanging through PLU for 7 years now and have had some amazing stays around the world. From a beach front property in Bali, NewYears in Sydney, a remote chalet in Romania, lake front in Washington state and in the Andes in Argentina, etc etc It has opened so many fun and new locations and stayed in places we probably wouldn’t have rented or stayed at otherwise. Our kids LOVE when we do a home exchange, exploring new toys and books.
